    G2000/RC60 deck

I have the same unit. It’s truly a wrestling match.i also jack up the front end, and have switched from dragging and cursing to using something like a 6’ 2x4 as a lever. And cursing, The clearance is so low, there is no room for some idler wheels or anything.

    2011 RTV 500 Low Compression

I have a little of every kind of Kubota engine. The RTV500 little two cylinder, an F2560 3 cylinder diesel, and a G2000 3 cylinder gas. While the 500 is a little doggy for some I am sure, and while I at times I would like the 1000/1200 diesel, the 500 has some distinct advantages. It turns...

    RTV500 Idle

I have a 2010 RTV500 with about 350 hrs. Recently the idle speed has risen. It's not enough to cause it to "roll" at idle when in gear, but it's a little high. I serviced the linkages etc, and lifted the bed while it idled, and tried moving the linkage manually. It did not seem stuck, and it did...

    F2560 died, won't restart.

I have ran my f1560 put of fuel more than once. And with the electric fuel pump have never had an issue restarting it. So this seems odd. I did have a problem with the charging system, a loose wire, which caused a low battery issue on occasion. That caused it to run poorly, and stall out due to...

    I hate my new L3901

I had a semi with a DD13. In 365,000 mi. it never did a regen that was not during driving. Nor did I ever do a manual. And you could eat off the inside of the exhaust. So I don't miss the days of the old 8-71's and 6v-92's. Big Cam 400's anyone? Smoke as black as coal? Lol I can't even conceive...

    Wtb Seat for F2560

Seat for F2560. Just the seat and backrest combo, not the suspension. Thanks.

    Tips on removing 3-Pt attachments

Re: Tips on how to removing 3-Pt attachments Dollies are the best if possible, and the newer stuff with the removable pin on the bottom two links to accept quick hitch makes non quick hitch a piece of cake. And stuff like the tiller and aerator rotate up and down. The idea to park in neutral...

    Re-decking a trailer

I rebuilt a deck and side boards on a trailer about 16 years ago with 3/4" treated plywood. Every year I soak it in drain oil with an old rag or brush, making sure the edges of the plywood get well covered. It's never spent a day inside and the wood is as good as new. No warping, and no rot. All...

    3 point Stump Grinder? brands/models?

That's what I will be interested in finding out. I imagine for my use it will be ok, but for an all dayer? I do know that it cannot be any less work that that accursed Vermeer walk behind I have rented in the past!

    3 point Stump Grinder? brands/models?

The only description the manual gives is "Grade 8.8 Tungsten Carbide Steel Bolt in". And that that the nuts require a 24mm socket. It worked well for the first stump I tried. I haven't done any research as to whether other than OEM would work. Btw, you do awfully nice work!

    rtv500 won't start

I don't have mine here, but isn't there something behind the driver, in front of the box that is fuel pump related?

    3 point Stump Grinder? brands/models?

I just picked up a Woodland Mills stump grinder. 24" wheel. Direct PTO drive. Seems to work fine, and your HP should handle it for home use.

    Stump Grinder for B2650 attachment

I just picked up the Woodland Mills grinder. Have not had a chance to use it yet. The guy I got it from bought it to do 20 poplar stumps. Of course he said it worked great. I did tend to believe him. It's built like a tank. I am gonna run it on a 955 Deere. About 30 hp.

    difference between g1900 and g1900s

Not sure if you acted yet? Run, don't walk to get this. As a couple guys said, the stuff fits both. Even if the bigger is for a different size deck. 54"? 60"? The parts are virtually the same, just different part numbers. A common Kubota aggravation! I have a 54" bagger on my 60" deck. Just...

    Grease gun question

I have had an battery operated one for years, and just bought a tool only 18v DeWalt, since I already had the batteries. Works like a charm!

    Trans oil

I was always a brand name skeptic, and still am. But I changed the tran oil in my F2560, and used generic tran oil. It made a lot more noise, and I even think the treadle valve worked harder. After 50 hrs, I said the heck with it, and put in the UDT-2 Kubota Synthetic. They don't give it away...

    B8200 mid pto

I have an RC60 deck on a G2000, which is the gas version of a G1900. The pto drive comes from the front. It's runs through the front axle, driven by a belt from above, off the engine crank pulley. Simple belt tightened engages. This RC 60 deck has the shaft to the pto stub facing forward. And RC...

    Summer vs Winter Diesel

Put it inside, let it warm. Then if you can find it add some #1 diesel, or even kerosene, it's just a cleaner #1. 50/50 will run at almost any temp, and if it doesn't get below 0 F 60% #2 will do. I have actually never had a problem with #2 when I started out with a warm tractor.

    G2000/RC60 deck

I have a G2000 with an RC60 MMM deck. On some of the newer MM decks the wheels can be turned to roll it out for service, etc. These can't be. Plus they are rubber, and slide like glue. So far the only thing I have been able to do, is jack up the front of tractor for clearance, and get into hand...
