Adding Aux Hydraulics to a B6000

Hi Well I ran into a big problem with my loader;) Its been too useful to take off and paint:D So as yet I haven't got a chance yet to paint it. Its also been too hot over here in our summer for painting so i will wait until it cools off a little. I have however finished cutting the bucket...

B series Three Point Hitch compatibility

Hi Doonkanooka Not sure what the problem would be. If the noise is coming from the motor its probably the hydraulic pump. However I wonder why you don't get this noise all the time? As the pump should be running whenever the motor runs. Have you traced the return and delivery hydraulic lines...

B series Three Point Hitch compatibility

Hi dookanooka There is nothing missing from your pto shaft. Its standard 18 spline b6000. The four bolts you see are too hook up a rotary hoe for the unit - S850. The hoe uses the 18 spline pto shaft and the four bolt holes for attachment rather than a standard 3 ph. You will need to buy an...

    HST v.s. Gear

My opinion (and its only an opinion) is that gear machines tend to be a little bit more reliable for use with ground engaging implements - i.e. plows, tillers etc. From the limited experience I have with hydro's they tend to suffer if worked hard. i.e. over heat, break things and tend to be very...

Adding Aux Hydraulics to a B6000

Hi Steve If you read this thread all the way through you should get an idea of the options available. If you only what a single acting cylinder than by far the easiest is to use the tap off port located between your legs. It has a valve which will direct the hydraulic flow to your cylinder and...

    Tyre size problem

Hi Dunk My B6000 also has 5x12 fronts and 7x14 rears but the manual says it should have 6x12 and 8x16. Remember these refer to the rim size not the tyre +rim. I think what you will find is the fronts are the same diameter but just an inch wider - hence you can probably put 6x12 tyres on those...

    help again B6100

Hi Dunk Most implements are designed to run off standard pto speed which is approx. 540 rpm. This will be equilivalent of setting one on your B6001. If the mower was designed to run off a higher speed you may get away with it. The higher pto speeds are generally used for the bolt on rotary hoes...

Adding Aux Hydraulics to a B6000

Hi Guys I built the blast box for the back. Based size on getting a roughly 250-300kg weight at the back to counter act the loader. Filled it with concrete which has a density of 2400 kg/m3 So 2400 x width in metres x height in metres x length in metres of the box will give the weight in kg...

    Help - ZB6001 - Kubota Equivalent

Hi dunk Your B6001 will be pretty similar to a B6100 (non gray market). Check out the following links for operation manual http://www.kubotabooks.com/AutoIndex/index.php?dir=Tractor%20Owners%20Manuals/&AutoIndex=6e3f4a6671cf0246fe27be1f41be9dea and you should find a parts manual here...

Adding Aux Hydraulics to a B6000

Well its finally finished. I got the hydraulic hoses hooked up this week and have spent all day trying it out. The verdict - its a beauty:D I can lift at least 200kg easily and it seems to work really well. The stock standard hydrualic pump works fine. Its maybe a little slow lifting main rams...

    B6000E hydraulic problems

Hi Kenny Something is wrong. The B6000 will lift 360kgs (795lbs) at the tip of the three point linkage arms. So it should easily lift you blade at 190lbs. You can check the service manual here for spec's. http://www.mytractorforum.com/showthread.php?t=13142&highlight=B6000+manual Just to...

    Extra hydraulics on B7001?

Hi To get external hydraulic power you have two options connect to the hydraulic offtake between your legs which has a valve that will stop your three point hitch working and operate the external circuit. However this will only give you a single acting ram. See some of the links below...

    B6000E hydraulic problems

Hi Kenny Its pretty hard to tell what maybe wrong. One thing i would check is the valve between your legs isn't in the wrong position. There is a valve as shown in the picture below and when its turned one way it stops the hydraulic 3 point linkage from working and allows an external hydraulic...

Is it possible to swap rear ends?

Hi Greg I probably wouldn't bother building one but if I did I would do something like in the attached pictures - hope they come out all right. basically use a v belt, and a couple of pillow bearing mounting blocks to hold the shafts. Cheers John

Is it possible to swap rear ends?

Hi Greg If having a CW rotating pto is important to you then why don't you just build a pto reverser? i.e. one that mounts on your existing pto shaft? You could easily build one for a few hundred dollars. What implement are you planning on running off the pto? Here are some pictures of my...

Adding Aux Hydraulics to a B6000

Well I have now pretty much finished all the welding. All rams are attached and gussets in place on loader arms and have attached the bucket. A few things to tidy up once I take it off again for painting. However I'm now ready to install the hydraulic lines and will go and get them made up this...
