Valve stem, in or out ?

It's a little difficult to tell in the photo, but I'd say the rims have a different offset if you reverse them. Right now they look narrow. Swap sides to get the stems out and your track should get wider. Better for stability but not so good if you're in tight spaces. You should be able to...

    Husky

Not experienced with many brands, but I've had good luck with my 359 husky. It was given to me for parts because someone ran straight gas in it and seised it. After a few hours of polishing the cylinder and cleaning the Piston ring groove, it needed a $5 gasket. Been running strong for 3 years...

Need advice on tractor size 130 acres

I've never priced out new, so I don't know the differences. What about a L47 TLB? Instead of grinding the stumps, you could dig them out, along with ditching, or a digging a small pond,........ The hoe is mounted on a stronger sub frame but still comes off in minutes for the use of 3 point hitch...

Installed a cap tube water temperature gage.

I'm not familiar with the machine but if it has a rad it should also have a thermostat. Have you pulled the thermostat to check it? I did mine for my ATV last year, if I remember right it should start to open at 185 and be fully open at 200. I used a pot of water and brought it to a boil...

    1999 L35 pricing??

After a quick search, this was the first I could find. ( It was also advertising on the side of OTT) It doesn't post any details yet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-Kubota-L35-4x4-Compact-Tractor-Loader-Backhoe-Coming-in-Soon-/162479758519?hash=item25d48c5cb7:g:A-QAAOSwBOtY9fly 5 years older and...

    WTB - L48 3 point hitch

I bought a new to me (2000) L48 TLB last fall. The hoe has never been taken off and the previous owner never had the arms from new. I'm looking for the main lifting arms and lifting links at the very least. Stabilizers and top link would be a bonus. I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada. I'd prefer to...

Asking for help, can't reconnect FEL

Not trying to be a smart ass, but did you shut off the tractor first? Just starting with the simple problems I've seen. Because you have 3 of the 4 connected, you should be able to work the controls in all positions (tractor off) to relieve the pressure from the 4th line. Failing that, cover...

    Tractor dies on hills

Just to throw out another opinion, not fuel related. I recently had to trouble shoot a zoom boom at work, it ran fine till they parked it. Then it would only start for 3-5 seconds then shut down. My first thought was low oil, it showed ok on the stick. Then checking for a charge signal back...

    84 years old.

Good for him. I hope I'll still have that kind of energy when I get that old, only half way there and already slowing down.

Run one past the oh great ones

Could it be that simple? It sounds too easy. Lol I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. Some snowplows and fishing boats use the same set up you described. The volume of oil would be slightly off from one to the other, but has been hosed that way for years. Remember, pictures when your done.:D

    B2601 backhoe Control Swap

One more thing to watch for. Not sure the proper name for them, but they restrict the flow. Mine had them on both sides of the boom control and only one on the dipper. Just Incase they're different sizes inside, I swapped them with the lines. At first I only swapped lines, then I went back...

    Twin Pedal Mod B1550

I've seen something similar for ATV foot shifters. https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Hand-Shifter-Black-Shift/dp/B00WZMQ7HQ I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to fab something to fit directly on your pedal. Keep in mind, it would be swinging around while using your foot to go forward. My other...

Haven't found a good grey substitute yet but found a cheap match for orange. I noticed you are a Canuck also. Home Hardware beauty tone rust paint, the colour is actually "Kubota orange". They carry it in all sizes from rattle can to gallon.

    Rotating the seat on L3901

When you were looking at lazysusan bearings, I thought that you were going to mount your slides and hinge on top of the swivel. Similar to the base that you found for the L48. If cheaper is better, I found 2 more options (swivel and lock only) http://disabilityworktools.com/seat-swivel/...

    Rotating the seat on L3901

Just throwing some ideas out there. If you want factory look and function, check with the dealer for a seat mount from any of the TLB models (tractor, loader, backhoe). I have a L48. The seat swivles easy, but at 6'2", I still need to stand-up to switch positions. 2 other swivel seat mounts that...

New keepers for shanks on box blade

For a nwb that hasn't used one yet, what would keep the new F pin from bouncing or rattling out on its own? I noticed a hole in the pin but nothing to keep it in place. I'm obviously missing something

    Paint match type

While trying to find a close match for a few pieces I've made for my L48, I stumbled across an unlikely source for us Canucks! Off the shelf 'Kubota orange' beauty tone rust paint at Home Hardware. I grabbed a rattle can for what I needed but they have every size up to a gallon. It's the...

    L3901 cab/windshield build

Stano, how did you make out with finishing up the cab? I know it's been a year, just wondering how air tight you managed to make it and still be able to take it off. I've been looking at lots of cab designs for ideas to build one for my L48. Looking forward to more pics. :D
