OTT did a noble thing when Henros Let them Die thread was allowed to run. Yes it got political, testy and out of control at times but the discussion was valuable - sometimes it good to step up to the plate.
I would not consider Saskatchewan Research Council funding as an example of economically self sustaining - more of our tax dollars one way or another. When the $80 million committed hits $160 million with no end in sight...
If anyone is aware of a currently functioning, economically self sustaining small scale nuclear reactor (not the arm waving - a real live example) please provide the details.
I actually had some dealings with them - they sent a JD lawnmower part I needed up here when the local JD dealer could not provide it. Always bad to lose a good dealer.
thanks - I didn't realize they had the spot pattern. The trail cameras are fun- we have 2 now and have learnt a lot of who goes where when - including 1 black bear. Not a great shot or I would share it.
Bought the 185 Miller and spool gun in @ 1986 - seemed like overkill at the time but it is one purchase I have never regretted. Just did up some brackets on a deck rail reno. Worked great - now if I could only make my welds look like some of the members here (you know who you are...)
