Front Wheel Trans Shaft Off Center

I split the l2900dt and separated clutch housing from bell housing. I rotated the propeller and immediately saw that it was bent significantly. That explains the offset and Mis-alignment. So I have to replace the front wheel drive propeller shaft in the transmission Has anyone ever removed...

    Replacing Bushing Front Axle Support

Thanks for reply. The supports and bosses have so much wear that the spindle shaft from differential is offset that it has gap in oil seal and cannot align to the trans using the propeller shaft. Double acceptance gap specified in SM for both supports

    Replacing Bushing Front Axle Support

I need to replace bushings in the front and rear axle supports for L3750 front axle. Would like guidance on how to remove the worn bushings from the supports. Also Is there a way to increase the diameter of the bosses instead of replacing the bushings? Appreciate the help

Front Wheel Trans Shaft Off Center

Replaced clutch and reassembled L2900. The front wheel drive spline shaft is off center and leaking hydraulic fluid. See pic. I can turn the shaft manually and when the engine is running. Only leaks when motor is running. Do I have to separate the tractor and open the trans to fix the...

    Top Head Clearance and Gasket

Wolfman, I really appreciate your response. I was beginning to think I wasn't going to get any help. I was using the Kubota manual for the specs. I can go and re-assembly the engine using the gasket I have. How will I be able to determine if the clearance is too small before the cylinder...

    Top Head Clearance and Gasket

Rebuilding a D1503 from a L2900. Confused about minimum clearance with the head gasket installed. Manual states acceptable protrusion is .50-.70mm. Mine measures about .70mm for all three cylinders. Another part of the manual specifies a head gasket number 35 for this measured height. My...

    L35 glow plug

Sounds like the glow plug controller is not functioning properly. The glow plugs are energized during the starting of the engine. After the engine starts the glow plug controller disconnects the power to Them. The WSM has a very good description of the glow plug controller and the electrical...

    Update: L35 Won't Move

Good catch...the disc is wet. It fell into my pan to catch hydraulic fluid when I fumbled the pressure plate. I haven't taken off the fly wheel, but are there some hints about removing the pilot bearing? I think it is pressed into the crank.
