    Pole saws

I may, but I’ve also considered just selling the M18 pole saw attachment without trying it. The only thing that has kept me from listing it is the thought if I were to only keep one and the M18 works well that would be the one to keep due to easier maintenance and storage. It also wound’s...

    Pole saws

I own a Stihl HT103, and have the Milwaukee M18 system with pole saw. I haven't tried it, but if it is anything like the M12 Hatchet I also have I'm sure it'll be fantastic.

    Pole saws

I have a Stihl pole saw. Model HT103 I believe. Gas, 4 mix engine and telescoping. It cuts like butter and starts up easy. It’s 5 years old now and has done everything I’ve asked of it. I only use canned fuel since it is an infrequent use, 2-5x a year or so. I have 3 other Stihl chainsaws and...

Help me fill out my tool set

My 3/8" Milwaukee usually works, but it's the original compact that is only 200ft/lb I think so I have to switch to my pneumatic impact more often than I'd like.

Help me fill out my tool set

Well, I forgot to update last weekend, but I made a second trip to HF with the 25% off coupon and I picked up a set of chrome 1/2” metric deep sockets. Now I have wrenches and chrome sockets without skips up to 24mm. I am looking at this Sunex impact kit that goes to 30mm without skips then...

    EA Wicked 55 Grapple Stand

I had originally been planning on the Landpride 54” grapple, but decided to spend a bit more for the 60” version. It wasn’t too much heavier, but was heavier duty and it has built in stands that flip down and work really well!

Help me fill out my tool set

Picked up a set of larger metric wrenches. I would have liked ratcheting wrenches, but they can get stupid expensive. I had looked at a few different 4-5 piece sets and decided to give the Icons a go since they were an extra 25% off this weekend. ICON Professional Large Metric Combination...

    Chainsaw guys

I have and love my Milwaukee M12 Hatchet. It cuts beyond what it should and is so handy. That said, for an actual saw I’d still go gas. I have a MS180, MS261c, and MS400c. I absolutely love and recommend both a 261 and 400. Use canned fuel and they start up right away even after months of storage.

Apparently, I've been storing my torque wrenches wrong for years. 🤯

Help me fill out my tool set

I do have 3/8" metric gearwrench swivel sockets. Love them! I also have a compressor, some basic air tools, a welder, now a tractor. I do enjoy a good cigar every now and then, but not often. I enjoy rum, but am more of a bourbon or scotch guy myself.

Help me fill out my tool set

Thank you for the tip of going through and checking torque that is probably a good idea to do. I went to remove the grill guard and it was definitely put on with an impact and without the right sockets I was struggling to get leverage while leaning over the loader. It's been raining the last...

Help me fill out my tool set

Last month, I received my B2601 and it’s great. I have only put about 4 hours on it so far, but in those hours I’ve gotten some tasks done that would have taken me days by hand such as moving a wood chip pile, clearing some downed trees and some logs. I have realized that my tool set is not...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Put my grapple to use yesterday to get brush to the curb for pickup and then move some logs around the property so they were out of the way. Had to lift high enough to get over posts by the gate and then weave through some more standing trees I need to get down next month.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thank you! I'm still learning to weld, so I appreciate the feedback.

    Added some bucket hooks.

    Tractor for 3.5 acres

From what you said, a B2601 sounds like a better option. I just got mine 2 weeks ago and love it! I've used the pallet forks more than I ever anticipated I would. I used to have to load and unload my truck by hand, but I've been able to easily unload bricks, dirt, and a small shed with my B2601...

    Simple Chicken Coop

Food and water are kept out in the run to help keep critters out of the coop. SO had us get a feeder that requires the chickens to step on it to open so they can eat. This also keeps mice out. A big rat probably could get in, but any animal would have to get through 1/2" welded wire to get in...

    Any welders here?

Have been learning to weld the last few years and picked up a Lincoln 210MP. I’ve only ever used it for MIG so far, but as someone who doesn’t yet know how to gauge things yet I love that I put in the metal gauge and wire size and the machine automatically gives me a range.

Is it me or is Kubota becoming overpriced???

Chicken feed has gone up dramatically over the past couple years, but the other issue is that entire flocks of chickens for both meat and eggs had to be put down due to bird flu. We keep chickens for eggs and thankfully have not had to buy eggs, but the feed costs have impacted our overall cost...

    Simple Chicken Coop

Couple rules to go by when planning. 2 square feet per bird in the coop and 10 square feet per bird in the run. We have 4 hens in a 4x6 coop and a 10x20 run.
