    A couple of guards (Fabricated)

Wildfire as always you did nice work. I love that iron worker all the way from over here. Was that a bandsaw or a plazma cutter doing the angle cuts? Nice stuff Paul. Dusty

Adding power steering to a B8200

Hi Ds. Sorry couldn't get the stroke on that cylinder. I have the loader off and all the hyd hoses are open. If I turn the wheel it spews oil. If you are happy with how short the tractor turns then stick with the 8 inch. If you would like it to turn shorter you can adjust the steering stops to...

Adding power steering to a B8200

Hi Ds. Sorry I didn't answer your question. I haven't measured the cylinder but an inch and a half should be more than enough for your steering.:D Dusty

Well I took the exhaust off and installed new exhaust gaskets. My son came over and we checked the valve clearance. One was a little tight, the rest of them were right on the money. I was surprised at how much junk was built up in the exhaust manifold and head. My son (Ben) suggested valve...

Well I replaced the oil sending unit ( Thanx to Ideal Supply ). No more leaky leaky. The leak on the exhaust manifold may be over fueling. I think I have new exhaust gaskets. I put the rear fenders and steps and such on the tractor, and at least they look like fenders and steps and such. I...

Good news and bad news. The good news is that the patch on the transmission (for now anyway) does not leak. The new seal and mid pto housing does not leak. Bad news, the oil pressure sending unit is leaking. The really scary news is there is oil leaking around exhaust manifold at the rear...

Adding power steering to a B8200

Hey Dion. I took some pics of my steering unit. Bad news cylinder may not work. I included a couple of pics. You would have to weld new ends on both ends. Any way here are some pics.:) Dusty

Adding power steering to a B8200

You said that it has a hydraulic cylinder seperate from the actuator valve. If that is so then $100.00 and you are in business. And if you can't buy one for that I will sell you one for that. And have it delivered. But let me make sure it is going to work for you. I bought it a couple of years...

Adding power steering to a B8200

Hey Ds. My B8200 has power steering. If your hydraulic box by the break pedal is the same as mine then the hoses are simple, the box is already plumbed for power steering. I'll take pics tomorow. I will give this some thought. Dusty

I think gravel in the winter will be almost as bad as pavement. But the screws are fairly cheap. If hard facing them is too big of a pain in the but, then just put in the screws and keep an eye and replace them as they get worn. These screws wouldn't work in normal tires, they are too long. But...

Hey Ds, I don't know if the valve is my problem. But my battery tray was attached to the fender too. That was the problem. I would think the battery had leaked in the past, more than once because it was the cause of that fender being so rotten. I guess I am pissed off that someone ignored the...

Hey Pat, Ds, Thanks for kickin in. I think Ds has it. This turns in and out like a water tap. A primer pump you push or pull and it usually springs back. The reason I asked was , when trying to figure why the tractor smoked at times I turned this knob. It wasn't all the way in or all the way...

A good day. I put another coat of resin on the trani. Refilled the cooling system. Then changed the engine oil. I had almost enough udt to fill the hydraulic system. If I hadn't topped up the steiner yesterday I would have had enough. Painted the battery tray. Now this may be telling everone how...

Ya it was pretty punched Scott. I cut it in 3 sections with a razor knife and it was like cutting butter. It is actually just a drain hose that runs from near the bottom of the block to the rad drain. When you drain the cooling system in that engine you really do drain almost everything.:D Dusty
