    B8200 Questions

Hi Chevy welcome to the forum. The dipstick is for the hydraulic fluid level. The hydrostatic drive and the hydraulic system share the same reservoir. There is a plastic cap under the left front of the seat this is where you fill the hyd fluid. You shut the tractor off to check the level. Dreaded...

    Forward Pedal Sticking

I replaced the dampener and after all was said and done I don't think I had too. Spend some time on that linkage. And there is a spring tensioner down inside. I made mine so that I could adjust the tension on that spring the tighter it is the faster the pedal comes back to centre. There is also...

    Forward Pedal Sticking

Hi Berry. The linkage is inside the frame. Pull the top cover off of you hydrostat unit. It is right below your knees when you are sitting on the tractor. They are hard to get to but may just need some wd40.:D Dusty

    B6100HST Hydrostat problems

Hi Dem. I think your b6100 isn't too much different than my B7200. Single plate dry clutch - propeller shaft to hydrostatic transmission - the 4x4 shaft comes out of the hydrostatic transmission to the front axle. The tractor has a hydrostatic pump and motor in the transmission and a hydraulic...

    New to tactor repair B7200

I know how you feel Kelly, I had to replace the pump on my B7200 too. The price was about the same , I may have paid a bit more. On the other hand it is a fairly easy swap. Sorry to hear the bad news. Hang in there.:( Dusty

    greetings, new here.

I like it, I like it, I like it. A real shame that it was left sit like that. But I am assuming you did not pay a ton of money for it. You are up for a challenge otherwise you would not have brought it home. One thing is for sure, there is a lot of work ahead of you. You will learn a whole bunch...

    New to tactor repair B7200

Kelly, I don't know. The fact that you cracked some lines and got nothing does not bode well. I had a b7200 for about 4yrs but I certainly did not know everything about it. It IS real hard to tell the level on the dip stick. If you dry it right off and then dip the stick, and then hold it at...

    New to tactor repair B7200

Hi Kelly. The reason I asked if the front blade hydraulics still worked is that if they are then there is nothing wrong with your hydraulic pump. There may be a valve to switch between front and rear hydraulics.:D Dusty
