When oil prices go up more what are you....

Gas prices going up just means driving my car more. Gas has been so expensive that I have a car and a truck, it’s cheaper to pay insurance and maintenance on the truck and car than it would be do drive my 200km a day. Although I have been eying up the new 3L duramax chev now has, or the f150...

    anyone using a non-3rd function thumb on a BT600

may sound dumb but to practice; I dropped my loader bucket beside a pile of smaller rocks and picked them up, dropped them in the bucket. Then reattached the loader and dumped Them where I needed them. Did about 2 loader bucket loads. Then started on the bigger stuff.

    anyone using a non-3rd function thumb on a BT600

I have the thumb on my BX23s, dealer installed. Worth every penny. I have moved rocks that I didn’t think there was anyway my little machine could move. If I couldn’t lift it, I’d clamp it with the thumb and drag it out to where I could use my bucket to flip it into where I wanted it. Other...

How long does it take ......

if you need a place to dump it, let me know.... haha I’m already planning on ordering a tri-axle worth once the 1/2 load restrictions are off.. as for the temp, ya what jay said, I’ve used my BX in -30 let it run for 10 min, then drive real slow to warm up the hydraulics for about 5 min. Then...

    Weight of a B7100 ROPs?

thats crazy.. if you gave the cop a number, how does he go about verifying if you’re telling him the exact Number? not sure how it works where you are, but there is a recycling place near me and they have a scale. If I really wanted (or needed} I could put everything on my trailer and go weigh it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Wasn’t orange and wasn’t mine, but I did a master cylinder swap on a cat 415C. Not too bad of a job, but wow did they ever make it a pain to bleed them. Almost 0 room to work and of course you are completely working by fingertip eyeballs....

    BX23S loader mounted tool box

hopefully they fall in a nice neat pile. Haha if I decide after a bit I don’t like it there, it’s easy to remove. Would be nice if the fuel tank fill was on the left side, I have seen the swing out toolbox mounts for the rops and I may end up doing that eventually.

    I am jacked this morning

We heat with propane, we switched companies after the first winter because twice we ran out. They were supposed to be filling every 21 days. They were always late. They tried to charge me $400 to pick up their rental tanks. After 6 months of fighting them to let me drop them off, I gave up and...

    Air Filter Cleaning?

never washed a tractor air filter, however when I was young and crazy I rode dirt bikes, used to wash the filters all the time and then oil them. A filter didn’t get replaced all summer unless it got damaged somehow. I use compressed air on most of my filters, both by car and truck as well in...

    BX23S loader mounted tool box

Sun was shining all day, I had a bit of time to kill. Got bit by the DIY bug. Decided to finally mount the Plano ammo box to my loader. All made from scrap steel and leftover bolts from other projects. Only time I take my loader off is when I mow, so I figured since I can put the quick attach...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ditch wasn’t draining, went from 3-4‘ of snow, to seeing grass in 24hrs. Love having a quick attach backhoe. dropped the 3pt, untarped the hoe from her winter slumber, gave it a once over. Then dug the ice out of the entry to the pipe under the driveway.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

there is a low spot there and I ran out of fill last year, so it’s basically a swamp for the next little while. I did snow blow around it a couple times so hopefully this year it won’t take long to dry up A bit. I don’t want to have to repair a bunch of ruts.

    BX Loader Valve Lock

I have used mine a couple times, it’s very stiff. I have 103hrs now and I stopped trying to use it at around 70ish. I don’t really need it as no one is ever playing on my machine, but I did engage it when I was leaving my loader off the ground and wasn’t going to be in the seat.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?
