    Buying a new tractor

Fourth: The support your get here for nearly all your questions! Sure made a difference for me when I began with the orange blood transfusion. regardless how trivial YOU may think it is someone should be able to help you out. I believe this is a unique community. In my case, where else is there...

B7510 Front Tires Tearing Up Lawn

Its just my opinion but, 22psi seems awfully hard. I dont run the max in my tires. I also dont run filled tires either though. A softer tire has a wider footprint as well resisting cutting. they also tend to float over muddy conditions as well. But by all means, no sharp turns.

    New guy needs help

Firstly, welcome to the forum. there are many folks here that have a wonderful orange knowledge. Me? I'm just a hack! But, i do have an idea for you. For the sake of troubleshooting, how and how much water are we talking? try to start it before attempting to remove the water? what was your...

    Wood Chipper - selfmade

I'm just venturing a guess but, I think it's and annealing oven. So...did I win?? It kinda looks like what glass craftsmen use. 900-1200^F. What disappoints me about this whole thing is Carl AND his tools don't live next door to me! Carl what has also occurred to me is that angle of attack of...

    B7100 w/ 42 inch Bush Hog - Mowing Question

Hi, I have a woods RM360 60" finish mower behind my B71. I too have "mowed" fields that tall with my setup I would not want to on a regular basis. For cutting the field at a irregular interval your current setup is great. just keep in mind the airflow needed across the rad to keep that beast...

The new Grand L 5740 is home!

: Its been an entertaining couple of days here at the shop with the two tractors. We've had people drop by who we've never seen before and look at them and come in the shop to ask if we will be getting any smaller ones in with BH's on them  they thought we were a new dealer starting up...

    Roll Bar Noise

+1. Yeah that doesn't sound right. I personally would deliver it to the dealer myself so I could kinda circumvent the sales desk. I'd start it, drive it off the trailer and right up to the service guys. get off leave it running and see how long they could stand it. that sound on video is just...

    Hydrolic filter and fluid change.

+1 You wouldn't leave the original engine break in oil in the engine for the life of the tractor so... same kinda deal. I'm even of the opinion magnets should be original equipment on something that cost as much as a new tractor. If you have an old "bad" computer hard drive, those magnets are...

    Kubota g4200 mods??

Anything is possible, but remember that diesels are inherently a low rpm high torque power plant. changes in gearing to get ground speed tends to remove the torque advantage. Thus requiring higher displacements and rpms and unconventional fuel systems to overcome this problem. So... to answer...

    Roll Bar Noise

The dealer is suggesting that you change the resonate frequency (cycles per min) by running at a different engine speed. same principles as sending say, Internet DSL, cable TV and phone service down the same wiring. everything vibrates at a different rate. Oh, tuning forks are another example of...

    Pond rake B2920

I think that is why I have seen them on tractors w/FEL's before. Just by the nature of using the FEL takes care of all the adjustments you had to make repeatedly.

Why does this happen on a long weekend?

Just a FYI... full charge should be approaching 13.5V. a batt that displays 12V usually has a dead cell if it had been being charged. So Iffin it was me, I would pull cables one evening and charge slowly on low overnight. recheck after charging. this could be a troubleshooting point here. low...

    B2150 running hot??

Coxey2, on the woods mower there is one way to adjust them that I learned years ago. when setting blade cutting height it will cut easier and cleaner if the rear of the mower is set a slight bit higher than the front. that way the blade tips are doing the cutting on the front stroke but as it...
