I have a L275 with a BF400 FEL. There are 4 hard hydro lines on it.
1) Large suction line going to the pump.
2) High pressure line from pump to just in front of the seat.
3&4) come from a junction block below the left side of the seat
3 is the high pressure to the FEL and 4 is the return...
I had this happen to me 2 years ago. The front seal on the hydro puml failed and FILLED the engine with oil to the point that it was coming out the vent on the top of the engine. I was bush hogging at the time. I shut it down immediately. Miraculously I did not blow the motor and have not suffer...

As soon as I get the parts in, I plan on starting the reassembly process - SLOOOWLY! If it takes a week it takes a week. If it takes a two week it takes a two week etc. Better that then trying to put it back together in one day and end up back in surgery and months...
There are 4 pins on the shift diff lock. Over time 2 of them scored the diff case and gear diff slide not allowing for proper locking this lead to catastrophic failure.
The funny part is that the rear axle was still locked with all this damage and broken parts hanging around.
Broke: shift diff...
