    L3400HST Loosing Power

Algae will grow in diesel if let to set in a tank. This could be from sitting around your place or from where you bought it. Only buy your fuel where they have a high fuel turn over. 1) Get some NEW FRESH diesel 2) Drain your fuel tank and lines - flush the tank if possible 3) Put on another...

    L3400 engine problems

Don't feel too bad, your not the first to do it. I did it once but lucky caught it as I was trying to restart the tractor. I had run dry. At the time I was using red gas cans for everything with just DIESEL painted on the side in black. Now if it does not come out of the tank or out of a yellow...

    B7100 - Wheel Spacers - Weights - Filling Tires

I did not make my point very clear, sorry. Take two heavy duty saw horses and a 16' 2"x6". Place the saw horses close together and put the 16' 2"x6"on top of them. Now get on top of the 2x6 between the saw horses and jump up and down. I bet that the 2x6 will not break. Now move the saw horses...

    Monroematic problems

Just a thought. This is the short version. I had a motorcycle that would not start with the key. There was power going to the solenoid. Using an old battery cable I jumped the solenoid and the motorcycle started. I replaced the solenoid and my problem was solved. I then tore apart the old one...

    Tooth bar vs. bucket expander

Is it worth it to you to go with a quick disconnect and a second bucket? If you use them both enough that would solve your problem.

    Serial # info

I have a L275, one hp less than yours. On mine if you look infront of the break peddles rivited to the trans there is a rivited on plate with the serial number, other info, and at the very botom is 1982. That happens to be the year mine was made (this could just be a coincident), but that number...

    Pulling my hair out

Yes, you use those turnbuckles to center the implement. You also use them to offset your implement to the left or right as needed to get some jobs done.

    HST and split brakes?

Agree 100%! Lever up = forward, Lever down = reverse. This can be hard to master but once you do you never forget it.:p As I use split breaking very frequently, the shuttle peddle in a PITA  with the breaks.

Which to Buy: B3200 or L3200/3800

Though this may be true for your area, it does not hold true for all the country. All over the road is ultra low sulfur. I know places that sell off road diesel that is a mix of No. 2 heating oil, (which is colored red), and kerosene. They also call this winter mix.

    L2500 trans hydraulic filling engine

Welcome Aboard I had the same thing happen to my L275. Rebuilding the pump did not solve the problem. I had to replace the pump and that solved my problem, but by ALL means check any pressure relief and priority valves you have to make sure that they are working properly and that the spools...

    Kubota NEWBIE seeking feedback.

" Also does the industrial tire get good traction in really mucky or swampy areas?" IMHO - THEY ARE USELESS! in these conditions. R4 will just clog up and you will sit there and spin. R1 is the only way to go for these condictions, preferably PATTY design tread. Example of patty tread...
