    Checking hydra fluid level?

I check mine with the loader on the ground, 3 pt lowered, and before I start it. But really, check your owner's manual.

    Hydraulic adjustments

I agree with the other posters. Move the valve a little and you can make it drop very slowly. Slam it over and it drops like a rock.

    New to Kubota

I don't have a BX but I have rented one. It is amazing what that little machine can do. Some people but a piranha tooth bar on the bucket and make it even more wicked. One of the main reasons I went with a larger machine is I have large ruts in my yard and those front wheels would find lots...

    Size Question

I only have 5 acres and there are times my B2650 seems too small. Plenty of power but not quite the weight to get good traction. The suggestion to get a pretty decent size tractor makes sense. Of course if you're willing to look at used, you may be able to get a much bigger machine for a very...

    450lb Ballast Plate

What were you using for density? I thought it was more like 490 lb/ft^3 which puts it roughly at 462 lbs.

    450lb Ballast Plate

I would think you could build one just like that for less.

WoooHoooo Implements... Must have Implements !!!

Absolutely! Almost considered the FEL as standard equipment. But the main reason why I've done so much with mine lately is primarily due to the FEL.

    Float Help

This is how mine works. To test, find an uneven section of soil, push into the float mode, then back up. If the loader arms "float" up and down with the soil, you're fine. To reduce chances of digging into the soil, try putting your bucket almost flat. By backing up you're simply dragging...

    B2650 questions

I ordered mine a few months after I got my tractor. Took about 3 weeks. Just to make sure, I called several different dealerships in a few states. Maybe even look up Messick's. When they told me the same story my local dealer did, I stopped looking and started patiently waiting. My 3rd...

    General HST questions/ new owner

I only have experience with three HST machines. Two gas lawnmowers and my baby tractor. I can say the two lawnmowers need to have the engine run for maybe a few seconds before I can have enough oomph to move the tractor, otherwise the engine stalls. Changing the fluid and filters sounds...

    Thermosyphon System Conclusions..

Alex... If you made the posts you put here and English is not your first or primary language I tip my hat to you. I have conversational level capabilities in a second language, but in no way can I discuss or convey technical information as you have done here. Good Job!!

    New Tractor Break In

I second the owners manual. I thought when I got mine it mentioned varying the engine speed for the first XX hours. I also avoided full RPM's until I had a couple of hours on her.

Hello from a newbie with questions.

Tires - what do you want to do? Turf tires will not mar up your pretty lawn but will also not be worth a hoot when you need traction. (Think loader work and pushing into a mound of dirt) Agricultural (R-1) tires are your standard tractor tires. Great for traction but they will dig into...

    How to protect bare metal?

There are lots of options, what do you want to do? There are wraps impregnated with VCI's (vapor corrosion inhibitors) There are papers impregnated with the same stuff Cosmoline Some forms of cosmoline are available in spray form and leave a light waxy coating that removes fairly easily...
