    Box Blade for L3800

Can't speak to the size, but I would address the larger well bedded rocks individually if possible. Box blades aren't really meant to handle that, and it will damage/bend the blade. Looks like the PO of mine didn't know, or care, or maybe just multiple accidents, who knows. It's not the end...

    1977 B6000E Decompression question

I read somewhere, the manual I think, that using the decompression while running was an emergency only solution, and could result in damage. It was stressed pretty strongly that this is only for getting the engine spinning fast enough to light when the battery can't otherwise manage on it's own...

2150 rotary tiller max practical size?

The reason I asked is that this is no real farm community anywhere near here, and the 4' tillers are hard to find, plus they carry a large premium when they do turn up (in pretty much any condition). Before I got the 2150 I did run across a 5' that seemed a much better value than anything else...

2150 rotary tiller max practical size?

Next year I want to start a garden, maybe a 1/4 acre max, probably less. I started thinking about this with the 7100, and that's still on the table, and I know the max practical for it is about 48" or so. But now I bought a 2150 because it came with a backhoe (kit), so should I run across...

    Wanted: B7100 Hood

I thought I had already posted this, but can't find it. The PO of my 7100 dumped a load of rock (or something) over the back of the loader bucket right on the hood above the headlights. It's beat back out, looks like the used a torch to aid the process (shaking head), so while the lights are...

    Line-X on the floorboards

I've used Herculiner and Duplicolor liners several times. The rock crawler I built and ran with my son and daughter had the entire floor as well as step and other areas coated. Never a bit came off, except with some unfortunate rock rash hits, which also removed a fair amount of steel beneath...

2150 with turfs on back, switch to R4?

A week ago I didn't even know what an R4 was, now I think I want them. My upgrade tractor came with a backhoe "kit" (needs cylinders, lines, lots of work), so it probably came with R4s. The PO said he used it on smaller residential lots that he bought/flipped, and he put a brand new set of...

    Manuals for B 6200,

Check your local (or several) Kubota service/sale/parts suppliers. I couldn't find a manual on my recently acquired 2150, and as obvious by my several questions in rapid succession, I could really use one. Kubota new was less than $30, and used on ebay had starting bids around $40! Mine...

    Shifting obstruction

On all I know about (admittedly limited), it's just a shift to select the desired output. On a 2 speed, typically HNL, and in the case of the block-off plate earlier, the H(igh) position is blocked unless explicitly made available. Very important so someone doesn't forget and set it to high...

B2150 HST - no manual, no stickers

Then I guess I shall have to make one...

B2150 HST - no manual, no stickers

Does that mean on it at all times, or only when dismounted.

B2150 HST - no manual, no stickers

I found what I believe to be the hydraulic fill under the seat. Right near the front of the seat in the center. Red cap, looks a lot like a largish 2 liter coke bottle cap. No dipstick, but that's got to be it (I think). As stated on another thread, I've finally gotten confident and educated...

First Uh-oh, 2150 ROPS mount is stripped

I've used helicoil, threadcerts, and others in the past. And yes, I've put them into aluminum parts (heads, intakes, etc) more than once to eliminate problems before they happen. I don't think I've ever used Timeserts specifically, but they look much like other solid (as opposed to coil)...

2150 Hydraulic leaks and system fill

Give that man a cigar! I've never had an HST. I first looked at it and said, "that's a gear drive right", and the PO told me "No, it's a HST, and you'll love it". I've heard they are like an automatic, though my impression was more of a CVT (constantly variable transmission). But I sure...

2150 Hydraulic leaks and system fill

Right again. I can't say "thank you" enough. I called myself looking for (and hoping for) an easy change spin on filter, which I thought the HSTs had, but didn't find one. Not having a manual, I thought, "Ok, this is like the 7100 where you pretty much drain the system to clean the screen."...

    Shifting obstruction

Looks like the PTO shifter lock-out to prevent accidental selection of high speed, which is rarely used and can cause serious damage or injury if engaged on a piece of equipment not rated for that speed. In one position it blocks high speed. Flip it over and reattach and it does not.

    Draining diesel tank

TxJim: It might still burn, but from what I think I know, old diesel left in a tank does degrade over time, and according to PO, this has sat a long time with that fuel. He couldn't even remember the last time he put fuel in it. Then there is water, potential "bugs", and loss of more volatile...

2150 Hydraulic leaks and system fill

turck: I agree, I don't like putting tape on hydraulics, but brand new (apparently decent quality by look) hoses are tight but leaking. If I can't find anything else, I have to assume either the fixed hose fittings (both) are poor quality, or the female hard line fittings (both) are somehow...

B2150 HST - no manual, no stickers

Thanks for the information. Not sure if it would fit, I'll look later. I don't have one, but if I need to dismount at some point I can make one, arched if necessary. And I just downloaded that manual. With no legible numbers that I could find, I had no idea which loader this was. With a...

2150 Hydraulic leaks and system fill

I recently purchased a B2150HSTD with no manual, and all the stickers are completely illegible, which has been the subject of a post in the operations forum. I'm giving up on a download, seems the 2150 is odd-ball enough that there is nothing available except manuals on ebay that cost as much...
