Lesson: How to spoil a grandson 101.....BH77 practice at Grandpa's

Your dad had it tough for sure. Just finished reading "The rise and fall of the third Reich", all six books by William Shirer. Seems there is another guy doing similar things over in Russia. On a better note, I have three grand daughters graduating this year that I have had a great time with...

    Newbie fuel level question

Don't ever get below 1/4 or so with my 3301 so I have never ran out of fuel. Not sure if I would have to go through a bleeding process or not, but I will say that when changing filters I never have to bleed the system. It just takes a few more rounds to start. rr

24 Ball & Burlap trees to plant (and holes to dig) - best approach?

My vote is for renting the mini X. When I was renting hay fields the owner wanted the fence rows cleaned up. Told her it was too time consuming for me so she hired a couple lads. They showed up wearing flip flops and short pants. They stayed maybe an hour. LOL rr

    2021 L3901 engine oil change

Once upon a time, I read somewhere that the shipper, UPS decided to start changing oil in their delivery trucks to every 6K miles instead of the factory specified 3K, because it was too costly and did little to lengthen the life of the vehicles. As for my L3301, the oil/filter service gets once...

    First service at 50 hours

My L3301 was delivered Aug 2021. It now has 438 hrs and used often on our 30 acre farm. Mostly bush hogging driveway maintenance, dirt work ect. I would be lost without my tractor. Had no trouble except one flat on the front, and that POS pto cable. rr

Kubota tractor overheating when fan replaced to electric. (Kubota G1900S (D722))

All or most of those electric fans are not what they are cracked up to be, at least in my experience. I built a 1948 Chrysler Winsor, and put a 350 hp small block in it. (I know, a small block Chevy in a Mopar but I could not get a 440 to fit). When the biggest baddest elec. fan did not cool...

Tips and Tricks - I need one!

This thread took a left turn somewhere! LOL But getting back to the spring thing, any type leverage works. I used large channel lock pliers braced against the pully. This on a lawn mower. rr

    2021 B2301 Coolant Leak

Drain some oil and take it to dealer. Get the oil checked out by another source also. That would be my biggest worry. I wouldn't run it until I found out if the oil is good. rr

    LX3310 HST Whine

Ditto Evad, on the L3301. When I changed the fluid in the hst I went back with the Super udt oil, which some say quiets the whine somewhat, mine did not. When working the tractor and it gets good and warmed it gets very loud. Most of my work is bush hogging on mostly flat ground and in M...
