    L3301HST Power steering

My L3301 has very weak power steering until I press the HST pedal or at the least a little movement of the tractor. I have read somewhere that, that is normal. rr

    Front axle Lub

Thanks for the replies. There will some SUD left in the axle after draining, even overnight as I did. So I figure a little more mix won't hurt a thing. Cold weather not a problem here way down in AR, most of the time. If it's below freezing I have the option of staying by the fire. rr

    Front axle Lub

I drained the front axle of factory lub and refilled per operating manual. I put in four quarts of 90 wt. gear oil. According to the book it holds 4.8 US qts. It appears to need more to be full. Question is; is it ok to top it off with SUDT as I have a couple gals. left in my stock or should...

    Bent my key

Almost same thing for me. My L3301 was delivered with one key. Fast forward to when I go to the dealer to get fluid for the first service. I asked for a key and the guy opened a drawer with a pile of keys and pitched one on the counter. The drawer had a bunch of individual keys, guess...

    regen issues

I am old enough to remember folks saying they would not buy anything with a CC. For the sake of that kind of talk I for one remember saying I would NEVER pay 20K for a car or truck. LOL, time flies........... I am sort of grateful for two stray cats that hang around my barn and tractor...

HST fluid change - Perhaps an easier way to refill?

This looks ideal for filling my L3301. I have been using a funnel with the flex tube which works but holding the pail up is tiring for a 76 yr old. rr

    Joystick sticky

If it wasn't sticky before, you probably bent the hell out of something and no amount spray will fix that. Take cover off and see. I have done similar. rr

    New to Kubotas

About 40 years or so ago I saw my first Kubota when my neighbor brought in a L185 to disk up his garden. I sounded kinda funny, think it was maybe a 2 cylinder, not sure. My first Kubota was a little B something with only 14 or 16 hp. Didn't keep it long because it was crap. It was HST and...
