I still scratch my head on this one. Changed my oil and filter yesterday and I put in 4.5 Qts to get it almost to the high mark on the dip stick. The book has to be wrong at its stated 3.7 Qts.

I checked out my deck today before I cut. It was low about 1/2 or less on the right side. I was following my owners manual by keeping the fine adjuster bolts the same. I adjusted the right side and it now cuts great while turning on on even ground.

I will try a higher deck height next cut. Thanks guys!

This could be my issue. My lawn goes every which way but level in most areas. And those are the areas I have scalping or uneven cutting.

To my surprise my dealer called me today to tell me Kubota covered the warranty. I already knew this from talking directly to them. The Owner went on to tell me that the repair was the $1087.00 and Kubota covered $577.00. He wanted me to split the rest of the bill at $250.00. He said this...

After sitting in his office. Then talking to the owner again 3 times after, I’m glad I have another dealer the same distance away.

I contacted Kubota and they told me today the warranty claim was approved. So that’s good news. Very happy with there support.

I installed these yesterday, they should come in handy. I painted them as they come gold color from the zinc coating.

I can agree with paying for shop supply’s. But not what the dealer was trying to sell me, He wanted the difference from what Kubota paid at the flat rate and I was picking up the rest. Which he clearly told me 25%. And denied it when Kubota care called him.

It does state in the warranty language we are responsible for delivery and pick up. I am glad I have another dealer (Quality Equipment) about the same distance from me that is eager to do business.

Haha!! Since we are on the oil subject.... my BX2670-1 says in the book to use 3.3 Quarts of oil, it takes 4.5 Qts to get it up close to the upper mark on the dip stick. 3.3 is around mid or a little less on the stick... what should I go with, the book or the stick?
