For light loads the beet juice will work fine but if you max out the front loader some counter weight is appropriate. Eventually you might look into a set of pallet forks for the front end where you can stack and carry stuff on wooden pallets with ease. For example bags of concrete, bricks...

    New Owner

Lots of great advice so far and welcome to the addiction! You will soon wish you had a need for a tractor years ago....:) If you take the shredder off the rear end and intend to use the bucket be sure you have some sort of counter weight on the rear end. A fully loaded bucket of something like...

The only skid steer fork grapple I see on their site weighs 600 pounds. Could you send me to the correct page please?

Question For The Pallet Fork/Grapple Manufactures....

I have the wicked root grapple for my B2650 but prefer my pallet fork grapple for picking up limbs and piles of limbs since the forks slide along the ground and you can "roll" small piles of limbs as you move forward into a ball, then grapple shut to move to my burn pile. For me picking up...

If I could design a Kubota, it would have.....

Another area I do not like on the design of modern tractors is all the "stuff" hanging underneath so easily damaged when working on rough ground or in woody areas with lots of trees and underbrush. This includes hydraulic lines, filters and actuator levers and control rods. Look at most...

I would use a orange paint that did not turn pink after a year in the sunlight!

    Caroni Finish Mower

I have the largest Caroni Estate Mower which has 5 blades and is 93" wide. Great mower but 2 minor problems. (1) After two seasons and just 30 hours on the mower the wheels started to peel rubber and one wheel came completely apart. This is on smooth ground and I always grease the bearings...

    Chain tie downs with ratchet

For my two tractors I use the appropriate size chains but at my age find 20 foot lengths too cumbersome and not necessary so I have cut them all to 10' lengths and added grade 70 hooks to the new ends. Easy peasy and half the weight!

I don't get it! I spend one day using the tractor, and it's dirty

Well, At least no one has admitted to using QTips to clean between all the nooks and crannies on the engine!

    Unknown warning light on X1120D

That is the international symbol that the PTO is engaged. Your dealer does not know this? :)

what do you use to move your deck around?

I am fortunate to have commercial shelving in my barn that can hold 3,000 pounds per 10 foot run so I use the front forks on my NH T4.75 or a electric fork lift to store most of my implements on pallets off the floor and out of the way. I get some funny looks from friends when they see 850-900...

Engine won't shut off and dash gauges don't worm

It would be a great help if you tell the group what Kubota you have. There are many models out there that go back to the 1970's and they are all set up different.

Why did you take the cab and FEL off? Now it just looks like a BX..... :)

    Kubota 3 point hitch problem

Almost all tractors have a lever or a knob, generally near the base of the seat, that adjusts how fast or slow the rear arms drop. You change the setting depending on how heavy the implement may be and how fast or slow you want it to drop.

Recommendation on Tiller Size for B2301

If you are just going to put in oats or rye for the deer the soil does not need to be pulverized as you can do with a tiller. Most grass seeds are planted an inch deep or less. If the ground is not rock hard a disc/disk would do the trick and use a lot less diesel and time. A tiller though great...

    A power tools discussion please

I have three Stihl chain saws, one is 26 years old and the other 22 years old and a 8' pole saw At 5 years old. The key is using them at least monthly and to never let them sit with old gasoline in the tanks. I have my gas/oil mix in a tiny gas can that forces me to make a new mix 3-4 times a...
