Have you slipped your PTO shaft clutch for the year?

I wonder the same thing. I didn't slip the clutch on my tiller this season since it's never been in the rain and never sets out. The slip clutch worked perfectly last week when I got into a little bit of rock while tilling FWIW.

    2022 vacations ?

We lived in Midtown and then later bought a house in Walls, MS before moving back to KY. When we visit Memphis on a weekend trip, we always stay in Southaven...lol I don't miss the problems in Memphis, but I sure miss the BBQ!

Looking for some beginner tractor advice (B/LX + implements)

FYI, you can use Kubota part # B2366 SSQA loader brackets on the B3200. I converted my B3200 this way. You'll still have to purchase a bucket with SSQA or convert your factory pin on bucket to SSQA (which I did).

Looking for some beginner tractor advice (B/LX + implements)

Make sure you get SSQA on the front bucket so you can easily switch from bucket, to grapple, to pallet forks, etc. Option for the 3rd function so you can run a grapple. I just added a top hydraulic cylinder to my 3pt and that's really nice, so a top and tilt with a gravel drive or other...

    Gas prices

Paid $3.21 for Shell 87 this morning in central KY. I've seen it high as $3.29 :( $40 to fill up my little Ford Fusion today...I'm not looking forward to filling up my V10 F250 when I start using it more this spring...

PTO Extension for Pat's Easy Hitch Setup?

That's not a bad idea either. My tiller has a slip clutch, but I've broken more than a couple shear bolts on my rotary cutter...

PTO Extension for Pat's Easy Hitch Setup?

I have not hooked either up yet. How much overlap is recommended?

PTO Extension for Pat's Easy Hitch Setup?

Another novice question, are all PTO shafts the same spline or do I need to shop for a particular size?

PTO Extension for Pat's Easy Hitch Setup?

I recently put a Pat's Easy Hitch setup and hydraulic top link on my B3200. This works great for my non-PTO implements, but with spring around the corner, I need to get my tiller ready. Being a first time tractor owner, I'm unsure if using a PTO extension is okay to use with this Pat's system...

    EA vs Homestead

After seeing the Homestead grapple get bent and not being receptive to taking care of the customer, I decided all I was going to consider was EA. My Wickeder 55 (the newest version) took right at 6 months to arrive, but the thing is simply awesome. I know that if something breaks or gets...

    This Weather Event

I'm in central KY and we're supposed to get .25" - .75" of ice :( At least I have my Wickeder 55 grapple if we loose a lot of trees.

Need a Box Blade in Spring - Rent while waiting for EA?

I bought a box blade off Craigslist probably 5 years ago for occasional use around the house. Find one like that while you wait on your EA and sell it when you don't need it anymore.

Did you make it through the storms?

I grew up in Bremen, KY, one of the small towns devastated by Saturday's tornadoes. This is a rural farming community, much of which is in poverty. I live in central KY now (about 2.5 hours east of Bremen, but it brings me to tears to see the damage back home and in other Western KY towns. If...

cost to install quick attach loader LA525

I converted my LA504 loader using a factory Kubota SSQA adaptor for the loader side. I bought a Everything Attachments weld on plate for the bucket. These worked well for me.

    Grapples?

I've had my Wickeder 55 since October this year, so I'm no grapple expert, but have put 15 hours or so on it since it arrived. I like the serrated teeth as they will really dig/cut through any tree roots I'm trying to get out of the ground. Once you have the grappled bottom teeth under a tree...
