If you have a B2620HST and do not know this you should.

This would also apply to the B2920HST and B2320HST. The Operators Manual P. 65 does not mention removing the drain plug in the clutch housing cover. The Workshop Manual P. S-14 does indicate removing this plug to drain the transmission fluid. This might be common knowledge, but just thought I...

Need to replace propeller shaft output seals on B2620

I am getting ready to replace the output shafts oil seals for the propeller shaft on my B2620 and would be interested to hear about others experiences with this repair. As all ways, thanks for the advice.

    3 point hitch 101

I replaced the clevis pin with these lock pins, makes releasing the stabilizers a little easier. I also flipped one the stabilizers end for end so that if you want to tighten the spread of the lower arms you turn in towards the center and to loosen you turn out. Not sure if it had been...

    Trailer Ramp will Lift up

For quick and simple, you could try to lay some 3/4 plywood about the width of the ramp and maybe a foot long or a little longer across the bottom of the ramps to smooth out the transition onto the ramp.

    New B2601 minor scare

I have some pretty steep areas that I mow on my property. I would not drop the FEL as this may cause a pitch pole effect if it catches. I remove the FEL as it makes it easier to get around trees, buildings etc Enjoy your new machine!

    Did this ever work???

With Thanks, So, Yes This Does Work! I had been tipping the seat forward as instructed for the original seat. But with the BH seat, the seat is released as if to swivel it allowing the lever to raise to the highest position and every stays running. Thanks for all the input! No one knowes more...

    Did this ever work???

I finally did a measurement of how much movement I am getting out of the seat from unloaded (no butt in the saddle) to seat tipped forward as described in the manual. Basically no difference maybe 1/16 of an inch. As a safety switch it would work just fine. But as for pto operation off the...

    Did this ever work???

What I do is loop the the wiring harness over the lever when I need to use the pto while off the tractor. This works just fine. It seems even if I could adjust the lever the seat just is not heavy enough to cause any downward movement on the switch. I need to take a measurement with the seat...

    Did this ever work???

Thanks for the picture. This is definitely a different seat setup then mine. The tool box looks like the same one that is mounted on my tractors ROP. My seat rotates to face rear for operating the BH65, does or did your B2620 have the backhoe?

    BH77 seat

I have a B2620 with BH65. Seems even if you get a rear facing seat you will still have to pick up the stabilizers get off get on and then move the tractor get off get on, etc. Is reversing the seat really going to save that much time verses cost? On my B2620 I rotate the seat as I am moving...

    BH 70 safety pins

I put together a dolly to store my BH65 when I remove it. One time I did not have the boom pin in and came back later to find it had slipped off the dolly due to leak down. If you think it is hard to get the boom pin in just wait till you remove/insert the pins for the BH mounts!

    Did this ever work???

That's interesting there is a tool box under the seat. Is it a factory original for the B2620 or something added after market? Two kill switches? Could it be that a second switch was added later when it was realized the single switch configuration did not work? But two switches doesn't sound...

    Did this ever work???

Parking brake on. I have been using a work around by slipping the wiring harness over the level. That works ok but sometimes I forget to do it. It just seems as if the seat is just not heavy enough to move the lever. Thanks for the input,

    Did this ever work???

I tried placing tubing over it without luck. As you watch the vidi it looks like there is less downward force on the lever then at the resting position. I am temped to put my dial gauge on it to see if I am getting any movement on the switch. Thanks for helping to problem solve.

    12 Volt exhaust extractor

It's from a boat engine compartment ventilation kit. I picked it up at a garage sale many years ago knowing that someday I would find a use for it.

    12 Volt exhaust extractor

Moved the tractor out of the shop and into a new storage building. Because the prevailing wind comes straight in the door with no vent in the rear of the building I put together this extractor.

L 2800 Tires feels like they have flat spots

If the flat spot is once for every rotation maybe it sat for a long time. If it is continuous as it rotates, as O & T mentioned check tire pressure. I raised the pressure on my B2620, industrial tires, to the tire max, I think 30 something psi for a short time and it was a much bumper ride...

    BESTCO VLWCX 5" Chipper

I have the Betstco Bx42 which works just fine for me. One issue is the mounting bolts on the flywheel shaft were a little lose on arrival and I try to check them before each use because they seem to loosen up a bit.
