Please ease my mind - Kubota L4802 vs Mahindra 5145 - Kubota $10k more, less functional?

The things I have been most dissatified with are the things I bought on price.

    Side by Side

Now I have Gators, I had a Rhino before and it worked well for me. Gator with hvac is for older people. If I was getting back into serious off roading I would go back to Yamaha due to their cvt. Much better on hills than Deere. It never disengages the belt which make engine braking so much...

    Kubota lx2610 k connect

Have you tried a little lubricant? When I install mine I lube a little and then engage the connection, throw the machine into run and stop, the push the handle more.

Farm King (Allied) 3 point snow blower 5010

That snow blower should be just fine. I have a 960 on an Allis 200 that I bought used for $2500.00 several years ago. Works fine, just dislike the rear mount for visibility with neck issues. Had to replace the auger chain once. I was using it to blow piles pushed up by the Bobcat when it broke...

BX2350: just installed a Kubota Engine Block heater; how long can I leave it on without burning the element?

BX2680 new 2019, I plug in the block heater when the first snowfall threatens and unplug when the weather is warmer. Basically the engine never cools off completely all winter. Unheated garage for storage. I always unplug before starting the engine. Old story which may be BS that the cold...

You know you're in a small town when....

Small town USA is disappearing. Having lived in a few I have come to realize that ya gotta watch who you gripe about as you could easily be talking to their kin.

Ya don't need to tell all our secrets. If you were to shut the state down we would just go out and whip some shitties. Or something else on that order.

    New (to me) Bx2380

And you must also wear orange briefs or boxers:p Because the John Deere guys have green ones with yellow waist bands;)

    Oil filter wrench

The design of the BX2660 does not allow easy access for that type of tool.

    Oil filter wrench

I have a BX2660 and BX2680 that require regular service. In changing the old and filter I have become frustrated with the oil filter wrenches I have. I tried a band wrench that works if I pull the shroud off and remove the sensor wire next to the filter, and I tried a strap wrap wrench. Neither...

Yes, another quick hitch question :(

Just as a point of interest, I have 2 Land Pride that use bushing which are cross compatible with John Deere I-match hitch of which I have 1. This makes it possible to share implements with someone who has Deere. Once the bushings are on they just stay with the implements.

This guy takes pride in his shovels!

I spent more time with pitch forks than shovels in my youth. If you broke the handle you were misusing the tool. It is a shovel, not a pry bar.

Good to see the preservtion of history. I have seen some hours of operating one of those and several other tractors in my youth. (about the same as yours) I hope the restoration goes smoothly.

A green tractor question...well, sort of.

Just return it thru ebay and let the selled deal with it. I sent out a tool that was damaged in shipping with ups and got told that it was my issue due to how it was packaged. $1500.00 item plus shipping bye bye. Shipper will need to pack better.

    BX2380 >NEEDS a Tiller That Covers It's Tracks

I would go with this. My brother's kid has JD 1025 with a bigger tiller and it gives it a load but going slower works. If you get one pass done just do half laps if it has trouble, which I don't figure will be the case. The slower you go the finer the till cuts the soil. Bear in mind that the...

BX as a Bead Breaker (for tires)

You need a bigger tractor! Actually try some hot water on the bead or put some pressure on the tire or warm the rim with a torch. Heat helps.
