My bx2380 seems to be leaking oil from the seal at the front knuckle on (if you’re staring at front of tractor) the left hand side. Anyone ever pulled these apart to replace the seals in there? Is it a pain to do? Or is there a quick fix for it? Any help would be great.

thanks

probably #060, easy enough BUT you'll need a pair of strong snap ring pliers to get #100 and then #080 out

I know I've seen a youtube video some time in the past year or so about this. Sorry, I don't have a link to it, but a little searching for it and it shouldn't be too hard to find.

If your leak is not excessive, see if you still have the thin UDT transmission oil in the front axle. Switching to the Kubota 80-90 weight gear oil might eliminate the leak. You can tell by the smell of the gear oil which is which.

This was the same thought I had...why not try it first. What I would do...but I would use any 80-90 weight oil, not worrying about the Kubota name on it... :)

"I would use any 80-90 weight"

Absolute sacrilege!
This is a KUBOTA tractor!
Must have only Kubota engine oil, Kubota gear oil, Kubota hyd. oil, Kubota filters, Kubota headlight bulbs, Kubota cup holder, etc. :ROFLMAO:
