Chime in if you're waiting on a loader.

Waiting on loader for my LX2610 since end of October. Dealer couldn't say exactly which part is holding it up, just said that it's probably built and just waiting on one thing to complete it. No word on when it will arrive.

    ISO32 or ISO46? Which one?

That's helpful. I wasn't aware that the UDT2 is ISO46. I kind of thought either would be good, but given the investment and the fact that I like to take care of my equipment I wanted to gather some more information before making the decision. I want to get the right stuff to keep this thing...

    ISO32 or ISO46? Which one?

I live in Newnan Georgia, about 30 miles south of Atlanta. I'm getting a new Woodland Mills WC68 chipper that specs the ISO32 (or ISO46 in "warmer climates"). Does it really matter to me which one I use? Winter temps here rarely get below 30F. Would one perform better as an "all season"...

Shear bolts? For a Woodland Mills WC68 chipper

I was thinking there was something special about "shear bolts", like scoring or otherwise weakening the shaft. If its as simple as just grabbing a standard grade 5 bolt I have lots of places near me where I can do that.

Shear bolts? For a Woodland Mills WC68 chipper

I know woodland mills probably has some, but with alternative suppliers I might have better response or might need some for other equipment (not WM) eventually. I’m new to tractors so wasn’t sure if there was a “go-to” place for this.

Shear bolts? For a Woodland Mills WC68 chipper

I finally made a decision to purchase the WC68 chipper, should be here in the next 2-4 weeks. In the mean time I want to get stocked up on spare parts like shear bolts. They spec out either an M8x50 8.8, or 5/16x2 Grade 5. It seems like many adverts with shear bolts neglect to state the grade of...

    3 point hitch activation point

It does appear to have full range of actual lift as far as I know, regardless of RPM or with or without attachments, the behavior is the same. I will need to go back to the dealer when the FEL comes in for installation and can ask them to check it out then.

    3 point hitch activation point

Super new to tractors. I have an LX2610 that I purchased in late October. Anyway, I noticed that when I use the lever to raise the 3 point hitch it won't move until the lever is approximately at the #4 mark on the lever scale next to the lever (about half way). It does seem to raise all the way...

    LX2610HSDC Aux switch (Beacon Switch)

On my ROPS Lx2610 it’s just a blank, no wires behind it.

    Fully depreciate your car

That Maverick would likely demand a pretty penny also if you chose to sell.

    LX2610 grill guard dimensions

Does anyone have the following two dimensions? I am going to get a head start on purchasing materials for adding a screen to the grill guard for when my FEL finally arrives. Thank you.

    LX2610?

I sure hope so. I just bought an LX2610 for my 5.25 acres with much of the same maintenance in mind. I didn’t think anything more than that would be necessary, and I have no plans on expanding my property ownership. When I view YouTube channels like GP Outdoors and see how much he does with...

    Pressure washing tractor?

Can't comment on cleaning the tractor because I've only had mine for a week. But I can tell you that I bought a pressure washer this past spring from Northern Tool, shipped to home, and I couldn't be more pleased. The price was right for my use and it's plenty powerful enough. I got the...

    Mixing UDT and Gear Oil

I picked up my new LX2610 today and the dealer told me more than once that they use gear oil in the front axle and Udt2 everywhere else. also, in my experience with Jeeps, gear oil has a distinct smell. Not sure how much it varies from hydraulic fluid though.

Just picked this LX2610 up today. My first tractor. Hauling it on my two year old 10k trailer that I use for my Jeeps.

    Rodents / mice / chipmunks

Thanks for all the great input. I’ll be sure to apply many of the suggestions. Need to stay away from poison though, I don’t want my dog to accidentally get some. No small kids or cats around so at least I don’t have to deal with that.

    Rodents / mice / chipmunks

I think this might fall under preventative maintenance. I'll be parking my tractor in a lean-to shed. What are folks doing to help prevent rodents of any sort from nesting, chewing on wires, or generally reeking havoc on their tractor? Can anything be done?
