The loader model is BF 500.

According to the manual: It has the bracket on the left side for them, but they are missing.

The loader has been painted over, so no markings. Here are some pics when I first bought it. I can take some better ones tomorrow if needed.

That makes a lot of sense, as to the symptoms. Because it was a recent purchase, and I don't know it's history, the power output, ease of starting, etc. once warm, would go with what you are saying.
