    Laser cut L2501 floor mats

I purchased a set from Ken. Worth every penny. I will say I did make a small modification. I took a box cutter and cut a half moon shape to match the opening above the L2501 hydraulic sight glass. I only cut it about half the depth of the pad from the top. Then, I sliced into it from the side...

    L2501 fuel filter change

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Lugbolt thanks for the tip. The L2501 has an “air vent cock” located above the filter at the fuel injection pump. WSM says to open it for 30 seconds any time the fuel system needs bled, e.g. change filter, run tank dry, etc. Your tip and WSM approach sound...

    L2501 fuel filter change

I’ve read the WSM and watched a few videos on changing the fuel filter on the L2501. What is the reasonI got for cleaning the fuel bowl with kerosene? Could one not just use some of the diesel that is coming from the fuel line to rinse and wipe it out?

Selling Bombs To Pay For His Lawnmower

    Loader problem

I don’t have a B7200 and maybe the loader control is different but on my L2501 to lift the bucket (FEL) I have to pull control back. To the right dumps if memory serves. Amazing when I’m on the seat it is second nature. Sitting here I can’t remember. I did hear some sa that now the actions are...

    New Woodland Mills Chipper arrived

I’m getting tired of the brush piles building up on my place. Yes, I can create burn piles but I don’t want to burn every other weekend. Most of what I am wanting to chip is yaupon and small branches, etc. woul a chipper handle smaller brush. from what I read it appears brush clogs the...

    Condensation

Too funny. I saw my tractor (TX based) for first time since the cold yesterday. Same thing - both loaded rear tires were sweating. Never seen this before. Only difference my tractor barn has a dirt floor so no puddles.

    Laser cut L2501 floor mats

My set for my L2501 arrived from Ken (Hawk67) this past Friday. installed them yesterday. They look great and fit perfectly snug. They replace a thin set I had made that were always moving. Ken was great to work with and I ordered just before the severe cold snap in Houston. I am located just...

    Added brush guard to M7060

If you can zoom in on the bolt on the side of the guard you can see where houser52 welded the grill to the outside brace and stopped at this point. Then, you can see the grill welded to the inside brace. The grill welded to the inside brace is overlapped by the grill on the outside brace. When...

    Brush guard

Used Old and Tired’s advice and used a strap on the FEL to support weight of grill while removing it earlier today. FYI - I have braces to lock FEL in upright position so it can’t fall or bleed off while working under it. Worked great. My neighbor, who welds, want to do it so I will be letting...

    ROPS lights

With the 3 light set, I assume your set up is 2 facing forward and 1 rear. Are they all on at once or is the rear on a separate switch setting?

    Quick Hitch Question

What i7win7 said. I had the same issue with a disk harrow I had put similar cat bushings on. QH engaged just fine but when I went to drop it off it wouldn’t let go. Messed around and fought and fought. Daughter walked up said it looks like the top hook is tight. I twisted the top hitch link...

    Brush guard

Nicfin36 thanks for the confirmation! That will make it a simpler off/on as no need to get a wrench on the back nut. I like Old and Tired’s basket idea, too!
