    Lost ignition Key B7001

Hello, It seems that I have lost the ignition key for my B7001 model. I ordered two new spare ones from the UK and I fear they will be here by end of April. My issue is that I am deep in hay baling season and I need the B7001 on a daily basis. :( I am going to ask around for locals with...

    front PTO for B6100

This is how i am coupling things up. Chain coupling at the pump side is a Tsubaki 4012CR The other one is simple sprockets and double chain bought from a hardware store (looks smaller and also teeth look weaker) but much cheaper and readily available. i think it will still cope. I took...

    B7100 PTO Repair

I am not sure what year is mine and it is a B7001 sorry*. I did open the box several times. :D last year i tore a tooth off the 1st PTO gear when tilling and catching a tree stump. (taking it out required a full strip) but the pto shaft job is easy through the rear plate (don't mess with this...

B219 hydraulic pump failed. Need help!

Hello, I am working on the pump to engine link at the moment. I was going for one chain coupling on the pump's end as in the picture. The bush was kindly splined by a local machinist (post-Operation) and nearing retirement (at about 160Euros). I had to leave the tractor at his shop and he did...

dimensions for the Kubota B219 / B1630 loaders

2021 is here and I spent most of my Christmas recess fighting my way through with the loader. Sadly some machine shops keep holding me back. Waiting for bucket metal to be cut and curved and for the splines to be cut. :(

automotive coolant pump in a B7001 (D750 Thermosyphon engine)

Hi, It is a boring Sunday Evening for me so I thought I'd post a little bit about my coolant pump in the b7001. Ever since I got the Kubota a decade ago I wished to find a way to cool it. Working the CAEB in hot Maltese summers (35'C) is no joke and even working a 4 foot tiller caused the...

New to me B6100 Want a FEL, Recommendations?

If it fits it might be fine. The bucket would be narrower perhaps. It is a matter of not overloading the system in the end. you cannot expect the B6000 or B6100 to perform work expected by a skidsteer. :)

New to me B6100 Want a FEL, Recommendations?

I am not sure if there are imported Chinese/Turkish loaders imported your way. If you run some searches they fetch around 2000Euros + taxes here in Malta. They have the square looks too and come with a subframe - which is not always as heavy duty as the Kubota meant it to be. The company in the...

    Kubota B7001 and CAEB MP550

There are quite many. Abbriata/Wolagri/Star (chinese baler)/Tonutti/ many more. It is quite comfortable to do the hay at the right time without relying on the guys with conventional square balers. They are always booked and postpone the dates and start the cutting too late when they grass is...

    Kubota B7001 and CAEB MP550

Hi, This is a link to the video on YouTube about the Kubota and the baler making a bale: Some history and info about the baler: The baler was bought through an E bay auction some good years ago as as pares or repairs item. It was located in Wales (UK). The Net wrap when ordered via the...

Issues with a Grandel GL280 TPH

Hi I am posting on behalf of a friend. He has a Grandel GL280. He told me that he has issues with the three point hitch. Sounds electronical to him, the 4 warning lamps related to the levelling and lifting come up and render the hydraulics inoperant. after a while they go off and all back to...

    B7100 loader

I ended up ordering a new control. that guy did not reply me. This unit seems to be cheap enough and free shipping. Hope it works well. I will find a way hopefully to bring down the pressure as it is probably set at a much higher pressure requirement.

Can one rebuild the D750 into a D950 engine?

It was just a thought. I do not mind doing the work myself and i know that parts may be different all together. I was running the tractor lately with a possible slipping fan belt and it was reading hot on the gauge. On one occasion oil lamp was flickering :( (it has a belt driven water pump...
