I tried welding up a piece of m6 stud which happened to need a gentle tap with a hammer to go in. And gave it plenty of tacks with the MIG. The alu one came out pretty easy. Yes the gasket is homemade... :( No time to wait for a gasket to reach me from greece... I changed the oil lamp switch. I...

Getting the bucket on was a pain. I fear because of a light twist in arms and paint in bushes. Hopefully some work will loosen things up.

Hello. First of all sorry for the late replies. I have been very busy in real life. It has been nearly a 2 year effort to sort of come to an end. I made it a point to get it painted this summer so I started tackling it from Jun. In my little free time (after work/farm work/animal duties)...

Hello. I am interested in adjusting the valves on the D750. I have not done it in years! I was reading here that adjustment should be carried out on each piston independently from others. (Bringing each piston at their TDC and adjusting to 0.008" ) this this correct? I have some downloaded...

Progress in early June - My friend with the metal shop managed to find a slot to bend the bucket for me. It was done in increments and varied angles with a press brake and not rollers. Waiting for the brackets to link the bucket to the arms. Hydraulic lines ready to be pressed/crimped. :D

    Trans hydraulic fluid for B1400

Sadly 80w90 is thick and I am a bit worried it might have damaged the pump. I did a reading not long ago about how the correct alternative for SAE80 is 70w80. Good that you found your UDT.

    Lost ignition Key B7001

Problem is that the D750 is a bit tired and worn (lots of blow by at idle) and EVER since I got him some 10 years ago, the engine has always required some 20 seconds preheat on the first start (indirect injection diesels all love it) I managed to borrow a key from a local with a B6000 which...
