    Daughter Missing

I feel for you Slim. I'm a little far away from you but I for sure will keep a eye out this way. I hope she comes home safe.

    pulling stumps

I just finished a job doing this very thing. I for sure understand what you are dealing with. I also have a 3pt backhoe and I worry about putting unnecessary strain on it. I felt like it would be money well spent to get a machine made for this type of work. I rented a trackhoe for all the heavy...

    B21 trouble

Hi Scott, Sorry to hear about your trouble. I have not used a B21 but do they have any type of cut off or directional valve that could have been moved or changed on it? The way you described how it's acting sounds like it went from working to not working all at once. Is that correct or has it...

    L3000 Fuel Filter change question

Good call on the use of the rubber covered vise grips Aquaforce. That sounds like a little red neck engineering to me. Whatever gets the job done though, right. Unless they changed the design after 2000 (that's what I have) they don't have any type of fuel cut off. The line comes out of the...

    Steering Wheel Play

Have you checked the steering rod ends? A little slop at each point would give you some play at the steering wheel. If you don't hear any noise or able to feel anything strange coming from the steering box that would be my guess.

    greetings, new here.

First off, I want to say welcome to OTT and thanks for all those pics. After you have been here for a while you will see that all of us enjoy seeing pics. A lot of the time a good pic of a problem spot will really help to get things solved. Then again, a pic may just get thrown in for fun...

Carbide tip mods for my post hole digger

I hear you one the sand/clay and ours is more chert rock on this end of Ga. The pics don't do the point much justice. It's beefy. The side cutters are the real trick. As soon as they hit the dirt you better be ready. It's going down in a hurry. I know that every one of us probably do things...

Advise needed on external hydraulics etc.

It sounds like you have plans to really do a lot of work/play with your ride. On my old B 7100 The fel was ran from a pump mounted to the front of the tractor and was driven by the front pto shaft (crank shaft) and my backhoe had a pump driven by the rear pto. The loader and the backhoe both had...

    New to tactor repair B7200

I am still assuming your 7200 has the same type setup my 7100 had. When I pulled the 3pt lever toward the rear of the tractor it would make noise. Best way I no how to explain it is that it sounded like it was dead heading. Does yours do anything like this?

Carbide tip mods for my post hole digger

I don't no if this will help you or not, I'm not exactly sure about what your looking for. I ran across a PH digger last year, man asking $100 for it. I get it home and try it out. It wouldn't even put a hole in my yard. Just sit on top of the ground and spin. I found new cutting edges and...

Glad to help out. It sure made things better for me having a cut off.

    LA504 Loader 54" or 60" bucket?

I wish I could help more with the bucket. It may say light material on the 60" because it will hold more matterial than the tractor can handle instead of refering to the duty rating of the bucket. I think the QA cost around $250 for mine and is worth every penny to me.

    New to tactor repair B7200

Hi Kelly, When you say the 3pt doesn't work do you mean it won't lower down from the fully raised position or it doesn't lift? Does the 3pt control lever move at all or does it seem to be stuck? My old B 7100 had a backhoe on it and the 3pt had never been used. When I removed the BH I found...

    L3000 Fuel Filter change question

Hi Eric, I don't understand why but this model does not have a fuel cut off. And to make matters worse the fuel free flows very quick out of this particular type of base. If a fel is installed it really puts you in a bind to even get to the filter in the first place. If you aren't prepaired a...

    L3000 Fuel Filter change question

I have already experienced what you are going thru. It would be so much better to have a factory installed cut off but it can be solved very easy. Go get a universal inline gas/fuel cut off , a piece of fuel line(2" is plenty but they probably will require you to purchase it by the foot) and...

    2wd

Good move on your part for doing this. I know it's possible to run on pavement in 4WD but it sure does cause a lot of unwanted strain on the driveline.

    Tiller on BX2360

My brother had a 48" King Kutter behind his B 7500. The tractor had the power to pull it but barely had enough traction. He had to run in 4WD to keep it moving. The tractor would just sit and spin in 2WD. The KK tillers are beefy. His 48" out weighs my 62" Bushhog by almost 200 lbs.

    backhoe--mechanical thumb

That looks like a nice setup on Coptordoctor's ride. I like the fact of it being a bolt on instead of having to weld it on the boom. It seems like that would be a good style to have.

    Quick Hitch

The company that makes the one in the lower pic that Eric listed makes several different styles of these. I no for sure they have one that is a weld on if you need to replace a set of worn out hitch balls and even have one that will slide in and replace the ends on telescoping arms. just remove...

how do i lower my pto/3 point hitch on a l39

As far as I know it rare to see a 3pt with a power down. I only remember seeing 1 in my entire life.
