    Starting a B6200

I think the biggest thing on the cold start has to do with the type of injection system being used. A indirect injection system seems to have a combustion chamber that simply allows for faster start. The preheat times (2-3 sec @ 32F -- 10 sec @ 5F) on both my L 3000 and my M 9000 are much less...

    B7100 and adding a loader

I know that my 7100 had a front mounted pump on it and used the right side upright post on the loader for the reservoir. It worked like a champ.

    L-2450 Losing Power Fast...Clutch Problem?

I may be wrong but that sounds like way to much free travel. I looked at the specs for my M 9000 and my L 3000 just to compair what the difference between the two of them should be. 1.4 to 1.8 inch on the M and 0.8 to 1.2 inch on my L. I would think yours should be some where in this range...

    G1900 Throttle troubles

I don't really think you are cursed. If that were so you would have a green mower. I have seen this happen before. A friend of mine had a Freightliner road tractor with a leak in the radiator. The shop that fixed it stuck it to him bad. Instead of doing the job right they just pinched off...

    B7100 axle/hub question

I don't have any pics but it was as simple as it sounds. I was only about 13 or 14 when I fixed my 7100. Using a die grinder really gives you a lot of control when you start to grind the metal back out and start fitting the hub back to the axle. If you take to much out it's as simple as firing...

    Mysterious oil leak. It Vanished!

I just noticed where you are from. We are almost neighbors. In the same state anyway. I have been close to Dallas but never been there. I used to travel all over the state plus some of Ala and Tenn running a trackhoe.

    Mysterious oil leak. It Vanished!

I have seen this many times on my Cat loaders. I always heard it called a "Cold Leak" but don't no if that is the correct term for it. Even on a brand new machine it happens. They seem to start to show their ugly face during temp changes usually when it is going from cold to hot. I guess it has...

    B6000 w/ rototiller question

Do you not have stabilizer bars? These are a little different from what a B model will have. Yours will be on the inside of the lift arms but will accomplish the same thing. It is the only way to keep your implement from drifting into the rear tires.

B7800 - trade or make improvements?

I guess this is a good example of living in America, we get to make choices for ourself. Me, I would never put turf tires on a tractor that size. Turf tires belong on a snapper not on a tractor, but to each their on. Turfs on wet grass are about as useful as a drag slick on wet asphalt. That's...
