    Your angle is greater than 90 degrees at the ram's mounting point which means you'd be pushing the loader down when extending the cylinder, not up.

    If you and Wolfman really want to get technical, you're referring to synchronous belts. But for the OP's sake, calling a notched v-belt 'cogged' is just fine as that's what many search results come back as.

    Looks like plug #40 is the same as your check plug (#55). You could use that plug to verify the threads of the check hole are good and correct.
