Traded my L2501 HST for a Kioti DK4210SE

weird right? I bought the precise tool for the tasks I needed to complete instead of just buying the biggest thing I could for the money. God I’m stupid.

Traded my L2501 HST for a Kioti DK4210SE

Sigh, I’ll admit with out checking my slips, since I’m 400 miles away at sea, I was a bit off. It was more like 4500, as the tractor with loader from the estimate slip was 29k & change. Plus third function kit, wheel spacers, tire chains, the grapple, the box blade, the post hole digger. Plus...

Traded my L2501 HST for a Kioti DK4210SE

Ok boomer, and yes, I looked at Kioti and Kubota, briefly Deere but the ground clearance was a real bummer for most of what I’m doing. also you’re about 6 grand high on the LX price, but I’m glad your kids taught you to use excel.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

More like what did you do on your kubota the last two weeks. Busy time at home and not much time on here, back at work now, tons of extra time 😂. cleaned up some storm knock downs including a handful of large apple branches, and pruned some more of the apple trees to make mowing easier...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Back from sea just in time to clear the driveway of a old apple tree. Then of course a good mow with the Z422 all the rain while I was away had the grass shooting up.

New dump trailer to tow behind the MX6000 ... and the F250.

Very nice! I’m going to need something like this in the next few years for not only around town but to make building my “causeway” through a wet strip of land into the woods a lot more efficient

Best method to properly grade fresh fill?

Another vote for the box blade. Also if you have a partially deep area to fill doing the project in stages can help, let it pack down for a few weeks then add more. If it’s not a urgent project that is. doing something similar to expand my driveway. After putting in 30 yards I built a rough...

    Are you ready for Winter?

My house is always ready for winter… well sort of, firewood is coming when I get back from sea, getting the generator tuned up soon. Need to pick up some edge tamers for the bucket. Otherwise good to go.

Tractor Time with Tim - LX3310 and RHINOAG TS10 Flex-Wing problems

Ahhhh, I didn’t go back far enough. That’s a lot of mower behind that thing. I guess on flat ground it’s probably ok, but once you encounter an ant hill…

Tractor Time with Tim - LX3310 and RHINOAG TS10 Flex-Wing problems

I still can’t find a video of him pulling it with the 2 series tractor. Just the appropriately sized 5 series.

Tractor Time with Tim - LX3310 and RHINOAG TS10 Flex-Wing problems

it really is all kind of silly. I settled on the Kubota because it was the right balance of my needs and wants. A decade down the road if I’m shopping for a new tractor I’ll take a look at Kubota, JD, and likely Kioti if the dealers in the area stay the same. The dyed in the wool fanboy brand...

Tractor Time with Tim - LX3310 and RHINOAG TS10 Flex-Wing problems

See I think simply looking at it from a HP standpoint is the wrong way to go about it. Plenty of older tractors, sized and designed for cat 2 implements that don’t make huge horsepower by today’s standards. They’d have zero issue with the size of this mower. At the end of the day John Deere’s...
