That sort of thing has moved to the internet or apps for a smartphone. I use an app from the American Red Cross.

    R.I.P The beloved Garden Tractor

I would be glad to help you with that, but you are 9 hours away. It would be a nice addition to my four Wheel Horse 520H fleet. With a hydraulic loader, two snow plows, ground plow, single stage and 2 stage snowblowers, cab, grader blade, two 60" mowers, four 48" mowers, 42" rear discharge...

Electric Cars - 12 minutes worth watching

Of course he will become a contributing member of the motoring public when the $7500 rebate is paid back and then pays an amount equivalent to what other motorists with similar weight vehicles paid.

Looking for an easy access for jump starting and charging

If you truly believe that you can get full amperage thru small points of contact, then buy the most expensive parts you can find. Personally I made my own connections with copper bar, heavy cable and plumbing parts.

Looking for an easy access for jump starting and charging

Since jumper cables will have only small points of contact, amp rating is of little value.

    Low oil pressure shutdown?

But they can take their time since the engine has been marked up thousands.

    Battery replacement, with no issues…yet.

We all have different experiences, I went thru hell with those batteries. NEVER AGAIN!

    Low oil pressure shutdown?

A rebuild is only as good as the mechanic doing it, you don't get a lumberjack to build a piano.

    Low oil pressure shutdown?

I believe that many dealers no longer do internal engine work and simply swap out the entire engine. You may have damaged internal parts but I would want to see each and every one before making a decision. If you can't do a tear down yourself find a real mechanic willing to do the work.

    minor electrical SNAFFU

Just think of plugging in an electric heater and the considerable heat it makes, then you will know why the breaker didn't trip since it was only resistance and not a direct short.

    Dumping landline phone service?

It is easier to fax a blueprint than to scan and attach to an email so some customers just want the hard copy. But yes, faxing has fallen off and I may drop the line sometime in the future.

    Dumping landline phone service?

When the ability to keep my landline phone number became available on OOMA, I switched to them. I pay a bit more for the premium service that gives me another phone number for my fax as well as other benefits. I also set it up to ring the cellphone at the same time as the home phone. The...

Reversing front wheels on Kubota B26 TLB - NO NOT DO THAT

Just think about the nitwits with their jacked up pickups and the huge tires spaced way out. Even worse, state safety inspection stations in PA routinely pass them.

    Desperately need help! 🙏🏼

Batteries have internal connections between the cells that can break. Forcing the battery to a new location without disconnecting the cables can move the battery terminals and cause such breakage. I would try jumper cables to see if things come back to life.

RV Anti-Freeze as Windshield Washer Fluid?

Some cheaper RV antifreeze has ethanol and the higher priced has none. There are other ingredients as well. The ethanol product might damage plumbing parts over the long term so I avoid it.

BX2350: just installed a Kubota Engine Block heater; how long can I leave it on without burning the element?

When calculating electricity costs, don't just use the "price to compare" since there is much additional cost. My truck has a 900 watt block heater and the cost to run it would be $116 per month if I was dumb enough to run it all the time. When searching for the electricity costs in your area...
