    Stainless King Kutter, Brush hog

A little preventive maintenance always goes a long way. Cleaning the underneath and wiping some used motor oil on it after every use will keep the deck from ever rusting out. Store it under some sort of rain/snow shelter on top of a few pallets will keep the moisture off of it. Throw a few...

    Need weight on the front

Before I had a tire shop fill my rears with calcium, I consulted a local kubota dealer about rim guard. I told him I wanted the fronts filled too because my snowblower is too heavy for my tractor. What happens is that when I use the front blade in the float position the front of the tractor...

    Auxiliary hydraulic

Yes you are correct, had to read through the directions and it does tie into that diverter valve.:D

    Auxiliary hydraulic

I don't know if this is any help, but here is a breakdown of the hydraulics to my b205 blade. Take note where the hydraulic supply and return tie into the tractor. My setup is actually fed from a hydraulic block next to the break pedal so I don't know exactly where the pressure line ties into...

Tire and wheel options for the 7100, doing my homework

I put some new turfs on my b7100 last month, got them off of eBay. The rears are a Carlisle multi track 10 ply $490 shipped. The fronts are a Kenda load star 10 ply $120 shipped. It wasn't much extra money for the 10 ply, hopefully they won't get punctured this summer with all of the bush...

    B7100 belly mower

That's funny mine is the same way. I have a K48 in spectacular shape for it age but the lifting mechanics are a mix of the two models. Had to buy both owners manuals to try and figure it out when I bought the tractor. The rear mounts are home made but they work. Not having deck wheels in the...

    B7100 belly mower

There are two models for a gear drive b7100, K48 and B3048. Biggest difference is the B3048 has deck wheels in the front of the deck, K48 only has 1 small wooden roller in the front. The mounting setup is slightly different also. I do not know the model for the HST tractor.

Ideas for speed bumps on gravel road

Has anyone tried calling the police and give them permission to sit on your land to hit the speeders with radar? We did that at my folks place where there is a blind corner with a narrow bridge. Had some bad accidents there over the years and one guy even smashed through the railings on the...

    Type of fluid inrear tires

Correction.... It is does come as clear. The PG that I use in heating/cooling systems is red and we typically use a brand called NoBurst. Thanks for pointing that out. You would think they would keep a color coded system for different chemicals. It would be a big help in case there was a...

    Type of fluid inrear tires

It's probably calcium especially if it came from a dealer. When it dried on your hands, did it Feel like it dried out your skin? If it was alcohol you would be able to smell it, smells like a cheap vodka or like rubbing alcohol. Propalyne Glycol would have a red color. Personally I would...

    Freeking amazon

Do all of the Wellies wear their PJ pants out in public where you guys live, or is it just a fashion trend in my area? I was grabbing a coffee about noon the other day.... Some white kid in his 20's in line in front of me with his sweet jack Daniels pj pants on getting change for a $20. I'll...

    Freeking amazon

Skeets, I'm surprised Amazon won't work with you..... Last Xmass my wife bought me a BBQ/smoker from Amazon. When I went to put it together...tore the box all to hell and removed all of the pieces. To my surprise the BBQ was smashed to all hell. She called Amazon and they sent a new one...

    Type of fluid inrear tires

Your best bet is to draw off a shot glass worth of fluid, take a picture and post it so everyone can see the color. Im guessing beet juice would be red but so are other types of antifreeze. If its calcium...once it touches your skin it will make your skin very dry instantly. I dont know if...

    Filling tires with liquid weight

What are you planning on using for ballast? I see your in Ohio so you will have to use an antifreeze of some sort. I had my tires loaded with calcium and it made a world of a difference. My tire guy told me it would make the tractor feel completely new and he was right. I was bouncing the...

    albino buck

It's been a long time since I've hunted so honestly I don't know. I do recall running into some guys in Vermont that were running dogs and following them around with radio transmitters. I love Vermont, always hunted up there with my grandfather. Somerset was our stomping ground, there is some...

    albino buck

There is a lot of them around here. A long time ago MA banned the use of dogs for hunting bear. Most of the guys with bear dogs went to Vermont to hunt instead, leaving the population to grow out of control. These three are still around, we have a few old Apple trees on the property and they...

    albino buck

I've never seen an albino deer and can't recall if I've ever heard of anyone around here that has. I found this picture from 5 years ago that was a sight to see, a little off topic but an awesome picture. The bird feeder was on a steel feeder hanger. Momma bear bent that thing right to the...
