Definitely needs a hose going into the cab!

    BX Fixed lift 3PH

Yes, The weight in the box is centered on the eyes in the 3PH lift arms. It is not hanging off the back. Since it ids an old beer keg I've always wanted to run a hose from the keg into the cab just as a joke. I will try closing the valve. Thanks

    BX Fixed lift 3PH

It's actually a home made 'box', a beer keg. The BX2200 is rated to lift something like a 1000# on the 3PH

    BX Fixed lift 3PH

I have a BX2200 and use a weight box on the rear while plowing. Sometimes I hit the lift lever by accident and the weight box falls. I see there are places to hook the lift bars to the tractor and not the lift. If I just moved the lift bars over, the weight box would be too low. Do they make...

    BX overheat fix (band aid)

I was doing leaves and of course it started getting warm since the radiator was getting plugged up. Not wanting to stop and clean the radiator while it was hot and after some consideration, I turned the heater on. Cab doors off for the summer, so not problem. Temp stayed in the black!

    Antenna install help

Yes the plastic shoulder should go through the panel. It is also important that the spikes on the bottom get grounded to the metal panel. An antenna relies upon the mast as one side of the signal and the ground plane as the other side of the signal ( something I learned in college 57 years ago)

    Bx2350 keeps blowing 15amp fuse.

Fuses blow by getting hot. A 15 amp fuse should blow within 90 seconds if you are drawing 16 amps through it ( approximations. check the fuse specs) The same 15 amp fuse would blow in less than a second if you were running lets say 50 amps through it. Since in your case it takes a while to...

    Advantage of being suddenly single.

I lost my first wife to cancer. I no longer had someone that said I shouldn't buy.... So I went out and bought a back hoe attachment for my BX.

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Bob, he's been gone for 12 years, but a great dog. He was a home body - absolutely no reason to leave home, no rides - nothing. We had a fenced in back yard, he would dig under the fence and run around to the front of the house and bark to get let in. We still miss him.

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

We moved into a new house and during the move, the doors were all open. Finished moving stuff in and the Jason ( a Shepard mix ) was no where to be found. We called for him and searched the neighborhood - no Jason. We finally closed the doors and checked out the house. There was Jason curled...

Electric Cars - 12 minutes worth watching

All of these comments about trenching machines are great, but what to do about the water table. My water table is at about 4', that means I'd have to work 6' under water.

Electric Cars - 12 minutes worth watching

If you are 1" below frost line, you are not deep enough. Geothermal relies on the ground being about 50 degrees.

Electric Cars - 12 minutes worth watching

At 6" wide, you still have to put sand down, the pipe, and more sand. You're working at the edge of a 10' trench that could give way. If it was digging through granite, do you really think it would be much cheaper than a well?
