    Used Kubota

Jimmy - - the answer is easy. Don't buy a BX. It will be one less person maimed by the machine. They’re obviously a hazard. :)

Unless you're a spammer spoofing web addresses, appears to be genuine US CPSC website, so not going to argue that. I do recall something with some BX (70 series?) tractors and the cap on the Coolant Reservoir tank. Don't recall specifics, but also don't recall anyone reacting to severe burns...

    Sold!! BX2751 Front Hitch

Looks like the OP was on the other day. If you hover or click on his name, you can find a "start conversation" button and do a private message. If he has notifications on, he may get a notice you sent him a message related to the item. Good luck.

    Winter Prep Already?!?!

That's a super buy in this era!:) I burned Dry Creek from a local guy for a few years at $250 or so - and that was a while ago. I think I got New England from him as well. I sent a lot of business his way, but after a while I got so couldn't do business with him. My choice and I'll leave it...

    Looking for some "machine advice"

Don't want to detract from @Runs With Scissors thread but guessing many/most of these are at least 220/240v. More importantly, are many of these 3-phase? Not available to the typical home service. Is that what @Lil Foot refers to for a Solid State Converter? I guess that part is germane...

    Diagnostic tools

I vaguely recall this issue a couple years ago, and someone said an end-user could get some (limited?) access to the system. @ruger1980 - - you might have been a contributor to that discussion. Seems like it was since you joined OTT in 2020 - - seems like it was 2-3 years ago per my...

    Winter Prep Already?!?!

I have a half ton left from last season and typically burn about 5. Haven’t gotten any yet. Last couple years burned 100% Hardwood from Lowes. Short trip and burn well. Was in Lowes this morning and they have them for $8.48/bag. Better than last year ($9.25) but still steep. Softwood blend was...

    Whos into home grown

It’s very much the tail end and very small, but we grow some herbs in boxes behind the house. Just oregano, thyme, basil, chives, rosemary and parsley. Very much a bumper crop this year. We dehydrate quite a bit while we’re using during the season. Still quite a bit left. We have a dehydrate...

I’d question the validity of the recall information you found. Not sure BX2380 was available in 2014. My BX2360 is about a 2013. BX2370’s were also out then too, and the model lasted several years until the 80 series came out.

    Milwaukee Portaband

I’ve looked at those also. Have other Milwaukee tools. Don’t know new cost, but betting you did great at $140. Nice find!

    Sometimes I'm Not Very Smart

Don’t have much for high-end tools, but I (usually) know where stuff is. After putting wrenches away frworking on pellet stove, we have something amiss……7/16 combination missing from the SAE drawer….. No one in there but me……or a pilfering interloper…..considering filing a Police Report.😉...

Land smoothing/leveling rock root hard soil conditions

I wonder if a subsoiler might be worth a try, followed by a box blade as @Lil Foot describes? At least a subsoiler is a single point. 6 scarifiers on a box blade might be a challenge to pull even with an L4060. Sounds like a tough spot

L2350 DT hydraulic temp to high?

For what it’s worth, I’ve seen someone here on OTT cite ambient plus 100F can happen.

    Winter Prep Already?!?!

That sounds like normal cleaning during the heating season. I do the same and wouldn’t expect it to shorten the life of a circuit board. I haven’t documented same, but guess I generally get several years from a circuit board - maybe 5 or so? That’s until today when I went through 2….😟

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

As much as I love our dogs, I admit I’m not a fan of the puppy stage. Geddy has never done a #2 in the house since he came home at 8 weeks. Probably only peed in the house a couple times. All three of our boxers have house trained within a couple days but it’s still something I don’t care for.

    Hydraulic fluid? L3560

Yep, all the same reservoir and dipstick. You should check your Operators Manual.

    Those flippin' flippers

Code Enforcement varies greatly by area. We don't have much Zoning in our 900 square miles. Former Farmhouse across the road was vacant due to foreclosure of Reverse Mortgage and death of owners. I mowed the 1 acre lawn for 6 years. First, so it wouldn't be an eyesore for our neighbors...

Who else buys tools/things for the explicit reason of "Because it's too cheap to pass up"?

I know it's not good stuff, but a Harbor Freight will be opening 15 minutes away shortly........ I've gotten some HF stuff.......rotary hammer is first to come to mind - - bought it looking to get a couple uses out of it. Cost 25% of name brands. Still works after 15 heavy uses. Got their...

    Winter Prep Already?!?!

Got it - - you were the one with a couple XXV and still have a Harman. Have you had any circuit board issues? My earlier replacements seemed warranted. One board might have been aftermarket. Kind of glad the ignitor is okay so far. Pain in the neck to replace on the XXV for me. Have...

It's Alive....It's Alive.....:D Geddy approves - - was in front of it within 30 seconds (not very cold in here either).
