What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

County wide burn ban lifted. ...I know. BFD. as I mentioned, it's hard to find anything to post anymore since I'm out of dig jobs... Done (well, almost)

Hmmm, I've had 3 labs, none of them were diggers. They sure did like to graze though.

Adding fold down ramps to trailer

Mine are roughly 1.5"-2" off the ground. I've had them get caught just a couple of times when the trailer wheels are parked in a low spot. Easy fix is to just pull ahead with the tow vehicle and the ramps will cam back over. You'll just need to put the grass divot back in place. ;)

My bestest buddy left us a year ago today. He was a loving, fetching machine. He left me with a huge hole in my heart. I miss him terribly. 😢

    Woodland Mills 3pt Stumpgrinder: review

Mikester, I've had mine (WG24) for several years now. With more than 100 stumps ground it's been great. Just have to live with the awkward neck position to use it. I did get some replacement teeth and rotated the teeth to different positions on the flywheel to increase cutting speed. My tractor...

    Mice

Like Evil, I've been using peppermint oil for over a year now. Drilled thru some old Rx bottles stuffed with cotton balls. I add some drops of pure peppermint oil to them every month. I keep 1 bottle in the cab of the dump truck and 3 in the mini-ex. In the mini I have one cable tied above...

Excavator Riddle Bucket VS. Root Rake

Does anyone here have experience with a rake and riddle bucket on an excavator? I'm trying to decide which would best serve me in "grubbing" duties with my mini ex. Grubbing, brushing and loading out debris/logs etc would be it's primary purpose. Machine has factory thumb (WB I think) Example...

    Timberline Chain Sharpener

You have to always turn it clockwise... so, it's into the top of the tooth. I didn't see any burrs.

    Daily Chuckle

I just came across a pic of me and the Mrs at our last Halloween party...I think it's funny enough to post on this tread. Maybe, maybe not... We had one of those huge camera things where people could get group pictures. It was pretty funny seeing all those wacky photos.

    Timberline Chain Sharpener

First time using this sharpener. All I can say is WOW. I've been using the Stihl 2 in 1 sharpener which has been pretty good. However, this timberline contraption seems to do a great job. Points are cat claw "sticky". Tomorrow, I'll do the larger saw chains. The only downside I see is...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Congrats, if it's like most other kubota tractors, don't get hung up on where you place the spinner. It will be located in another position on the wheel next week. The wheel doesn't return to the same position like a car. Not wizzin on your parade...it's just the the way it is.

    Moving heavy trailer with BX

Well, I'm sure that many won't like this, but, I used to move my boat around all the time with my 2006 BX23. Boat and trailer (single axle) were in the 4-4.5K range. Driveway was stone and had a pretty good slope to it. I simply hooked the trailer chains to a welded hook in top of the bucket and...

Seat options with armrests for the L2501

Damn, I just did a quick search for those seats...now they are $350 - $400! I should've bought a dozen of them from Rural King in 2019.

Seat options with armrests for the L2501

Different tractor but a bunch of us ordered these from Rural King several years ago... fantastic seat at an outstanding price at that time...They may have been mismarked or just on clearance. Here's a pic installed on B2650 with the backhoe seat swivel...

Good Works Tractor Co. and their latest Quick Hitch

I have the speeco E hitch. Looks to be about 1/2" gap between the top of the pin and the lock. There's only about an 1/8" gap in the cradle. It's never given me a bit of trouble. 🤷‍♂️
