I recently purchased a Mech Maxx stump grinder and thought I'd share my early thoughts on it.
I have several other attachments, including a Land Pride grapple and Woodland Mills WC68 chipper (wood / brush related attachments).
I planned on buying the Woodland Mills stump grinder, but the Mech Maxx was a substantially better deal so I figured I'd try it. (some online posts suggest they are made in the same factory, I don't know... just saying). It arrived well crated, it was easy to assemble, everything seems well made and sturdy! I ground 10 stumps last weekend and it's more than met my expectations! Pictures are of the first stump I tried it on, it was 18"-22" in size and only took 3-5 minutes to make go away, :)(y)!

Other pics are of random trail / woods work.... 🍻

I have the Woodland Mills version. Aside from paint colors and placarding, they do bear a rather striking resemblance to each other.

I have the Woodland Mills version and I think you did good. The Wood Maxx looks identical and its $500 cheaper. Three years ago I think mine cost about the same as yours but I would have to check to be sure. They do obliterate stumps and mine paid for itself very quickly 😍

congrats.

Yes, it does look like the woodland mills unit complete with the same saw holder.

I've had mine (woodland mills) for several years and its been great.
