    1" Coil Rod

Thats cool stuff, but admittedly I had never heard of it before. I too would have walked right by it, thinking it was rebar. Certainly a nice find for that "special project" sometime in the future.....Oh if I found that, my wife would be

    Antifreeze Leak

I'm certainly no expert any longer, but that sure looks like a crack running vertically to me. But try the "easy stuff" first as suggested. I can't figure out how to "circle it" on my Mac. Edit: Well with a bigger monitor, I'm now less sure, but I was able to circle what I think/thought was...

Kubota B7100HST-D adding lower radiator hose engine heater **UPDATE

Nice write up. I have a factory heater that I try to plug in about an hour before I want to use it, as well a battery maintainer. Last winter was a little disappointing around here, but generally my area gets below freezing for most of the winter. The good part about that style heater is...

    Low Compression Identification

Enough of it would. The "sweet" part is a dead give away that it is burning coolant at a significant rate. Bad rings will not cause that. IMHO, You have either a bad head gasket, cracked/warped head or a cracked block. Pressure test your cooling system. I will bet that it will not hold...

Recommendations for a quick attach pallet fork for a BX

I have a set of HLA's and I am very pleased with them. But I went with a "slightly longer" set. I wanted to be able to "go all the way through" a pallet, and have a few inches sticking out the other side as a "safety factor" I have been told that the extra few inch's is "not' a desirable...

    Another Kubota/tractor newbie here

I have a similar situation as you sir, having 5 acres with about 1 to cut (done with a riding mower) and the rest wooded. (I'm in northern lower MI with similar "mushy areas" as well) I love my L2501 4x4. I know folks love their B's and BX's and such, but I personally liked the L due to it's...

    Quick Hitch advice please

My LP QH-15 has worked great for all my LP attachments and my 1 Homestead Box Blade. It has an adjustable "upper part" but unfortunately I can't say for certain if it works with "all" other models.

BX 25 Hazard/turn signals not working.

Joe, I would imagine the best place to look for the physical location will be the Work Shop Manual. There are "gurus" here that can get/send you a copy most likely. I am unfortunately, not one of them, but I am sure one of these fine gentlemen will be along shortly to help. I the mean time, I...

    Looking for some "machine advice"

Thank you sir. I'm glad you mentioned it. I have been worried about "Enco" lathes. Due to the stigma of being "import crap" Thanks!!!

    Looking for some "machine advice"

Thanks fellas. Believe it or not, your years of experience and insights are very valuable to me. For instance, I was in the past, a "long range" rifleman. So I have rifles that have 28+ inch barrels and maybe, just maybe, I would like to get back into that. But as for pool cues........I...

    Looking for some "machine advice"

Oh and I forgot to mention that after signing up for this "facebook marketplace" thing, and looking around a little...... There is definitely a "crack smoking epidemic" going on here in America.....Some of these people are clearly "stoned out of their ever loving minds" with their...

    Looking for some "machine advice"

Just a heads up on where I am at in my head anyway. I think I am looking for a lathe with the follow things: ~14-16 swing over bed, but I think a 15 would be ideal. ~40 inchs long, but might not pass on a 50 ...... Must be capable of running 240V 3 phase........(From my understanding a 480V...

    Looking for some "machine advice"

Thanks for that info. It seems like I am seeing quite a few Leblonde Regals with the servo shift. Is "servo shift" a good or bad thing?

    Over heating

Be careful of how close you get to the "small radiator" . I think it's for the hydraulics. The fins are SUPER EASY to fold over and bend using either compressed air or a pressure washer. At least mine were.

    Backhoe Swing Lock Pin

Man, I always get 'tricked' into reading these 10 year old threads thinking they are current.....hahahaha And BTW, just for the record, I have never used my swing lock pin yet, but I did lose an attachment pin on the port side, and I looked for 3 hours but could not find it, and If I recall it...

Sigh, I need to tap one of my lug holes. Any advice?

+1 on this. I would replace that center and try to clean the threads from the backside if possible.
