Older B series backhoe / subframe questions

I do not believe a 3pt backhoe requires a subframe. They can stress the tractor more because of the lack of a subframe.

LX2610 finally arrived, a first report

I have a LX2610SU with the BH77 backhoe. I can answer the question about how easy it is to reach the controls with the swivel seat. For me the seat does not move as far forward as I would like when facing forward or for using the backhoe. When using the backhoe I find myself sliding to the front...

    Drive it or trailer it?

First, thank you all for your helpful comments. Today I drove my tractor the five miles to my daughters house to do some landscaping work for her. Several of you suggested that I have an escort vehicle follow me, and I thought that was a good idea, but I didn't have a convenient escort so I went...

    Incline safety

Yes. I have been wondering why this is not included on all tractors. I understand that implements, loads, and load heights can make a big difference in how far you can safely tilt a tractor, but some sort of large bubble level with increments clearly marked would be helpful.

    Drive it or trailer it?

That is a good idea. I notice that when the town or county are driving a tractor on the road they always have a truck following with the flashers on.

    Drive it or trailer it?

Thank you all for your responses. The road is a state highway with a nice shoulder. I live in a tourist area with quite a bit of traffic this time of year, but we see a lot of bicycles and pedestrians on the shoulder so drivers are typically aware. I will drive it in the early AM when traffic is...

    Drive it or trailer it?

I need to move my tractor to a job about five miles down the paved road, and of course back again after I'm done with the job. I have a LX2610SU with R14 tires if any of that matters. I am trying to decide if it is OK to drive it that far or should I take the time and trouble to load it on the...

    PUTER GEEKS

You can turn the app off by: Right click on the taskbar - You will get a list of apps Select "News and Interests" - You will get a list of options Select "Turn Off" That worked for me. This might help if you want to actually delete the app...

When waiting how often do/did you call your salesman?

I waited a couple of months for my LX2610SU. They had the tractor and implements I wanted on hand, but the sub-frame for the backhoe was back ordered. I always use email instead of phone calls for anything related to my money because I want a written record of what was promised so there is no...

Bent (frown) leading edge on new 60” bucket

Out of curiosity, is it a genuine Kubota bucket?

Asphalt Millings for Driveway / Parking around shed?

My driveway was originally built with bank run gravel. It is a little over 600 feet long with a hill for about 75 of those feet and a parking area at the top about 75 x 75 feet. A couple of years ago I had it resurfaced with asphalt tailings and they held up well, but still washed away a little...

NEW LX 2610 has bolt missing from Trans?

I think this thread is asking the same question.

    LX2610SU. Am I missing a bolt

My LX2610SU has two bolts. Maybe because I have a backhoe since I turn the seat around to use the backhoe.

The PRICE of super UDT2 - are you kidding?

What I have seen online where you can buy Kubota parts looks like a good deal, but shipping, especially on fluids, increases the price to where you are not saving anything.

Firewood, What do you burn and how long do you season it.

I use a RSF Delta high efficiency fireplace to heat my 3000 square foot log cabin. It heats the first floor well, and leave the bedrooms upstairs cooler, which suits us. I burn between 7 and 10 cords a year depending on how the winter goes. It is not as efficient as a wood burning stove, but it...

    Land Pride third function valve

Thank you all for your help. I think I have a reasonable solution now by rotating the control handle so the switches are on the inside, by my thumb. I am surprised that the installer didn't do it that way in the first place, but that's the way things go.

    Land Pride third function valve

That looks like a good solution. I have rotated the handle around so the buttons are on the thumb side and that looks like it will work for me. If I still have trouble with it then I will go with the toggle switch that lights when on. Thank you.

    Land Pride third function valve

The control valve, the part with the two solenoids, is in front of the brake pedal and protected from the side by a heavy steel plate that goes up to where the loader is mounted. That looks good to me.

    Land Pride third function valve

I will spin it around tomorrow. I think that will put the buttons in a better place where I am less likely to push them unintentionally, and having them on the thumb side will be extra insurance against pushing both at the same time.
