1.33 acres, heavily wooded and overgrown... Need advice on a tractor purchase!

There is quite a size difference between the B and the LX.

    New Tractor 5 acres

If the price is fine and the dealer reputation is solid don’t let the sales guy put you off. You’ll never have to deal with him again. Also his email wasn’t really out of line but it wasn’t worded the best either. He may get jerked around often making sales too. Sometimes also an attitude can be...

L2250 Front Axle Problem, Please Help!

https://www.tractorhouse.com/listing/for-sale/212537653/kubota-kubota-l2250-front-axle-components I know it is kinda expensive but if you are getting stuck in 2wd you really don’t have much of a choice but to fix it. Individual parts are likely the cheapest option and nothing is overly...

1.33 acres, heavily wooded and overgrown... Need advice on a tractor purchase!

Roadtrip! I say get on the phone and find the nearest dealer with what you want in stock and head on over to confirm it fits you well.

    New Tractor 5 acres

Also whilst deciding on tires decide if you want the “oversized” setup that comes on the LX2610SU. I saw some advantages for my off trail shenanigans.

    New Tractor 5 acres

I have the R4s and passed on the R14s. The R14s are said to be more gentle on grass. I chose the R4’s for the stronger sidewall that I felt would be handy against rocks, roots and logs when off trails.

    Questions about an LX3310

    I can’t think of a reason for a 3rd function without a loader.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished up the cart for my chipper. Dismantled stall wood (2x6 tongue and groove) and 300 pound each steel wheel casters (cheap at $9 per). Now I just gotta finish 4 more. Also put a .50 cal ammo can in place of the factory toolbox. Now I can fit my heavy chain, a few tools and extra...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Normally my box blade hangs off the rear of my tractor for the summer so I didn’t fret much over the hassle of hooking it up and taking it off. Since getting the chipper changes will be much more frequent. It’s time to throw together a few carts for my modest implement collection. I “need” 5 to...

Why are you so fast Homestead Implements!?

Have you checked online and with other dealers for the 3rd function? There may be one sitting on a shelf somewhere.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got the PTO shaft cut and took it for a short test run. I had a few fitting leaks that were easy enough to snug up but other than that it ran perfect and exceeded my expectations. I was a bit concerned that it has the angled chute vs. the flat chute……that was silly of me. Very nice to just drop...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ha! I had to remove the in/out chutes to sling it out of the truck without damaging it or the truck so that’s about 1/2 the height. Should have time to cut the PTO shaft and test it out today. 😬

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The truck or the chipper? 😜 Chipper was $2400. Normally I wouldn’t pay that close to “new” price outta spite but the MX8600 to my driveway was $4k-ish. The savings bought me the HD Woods back blade and a few snacks.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I was looking to buy a new Woodmaxx MX8600 chipper. Well, I found a lightly used (22hrs.) with a fresh set of blades/filter TM-86H in excellent condition that I bought instead. I would prefer new with the warranty and hydro drive BUT the price difference made it hard to pass up. It was a few...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I bought a Woods RB72.50 rear blade today. It’s primary function will be for snow removal along with the loader. I thought about going for a legit front plow but just don’t think it’s necessary. This blade is a bit overkill for my plans but that’s how I roll. 😬 I pick it up tomorrow along...
