After watching a few videos, looks like an easy job as long as the FEL doesn't make it a pain in the ass to access the block plug. Where did you drain the coolant from, do our radiators have petcocks or does the block have a drain? I should probably look in the WSM, but I am lazy 😁...

That's good advice, I may remove mine. I noticed the top of the bucket had a "Level" sticker on it. Thankfully that will make it easier to install bucket hooks too. Did you order from BXpanded? Crap, I just realized I forgot to ask the dealer to add an block heater for winter time... I'll have...

Which forks are these? My LX2610 build is completed and should be delivered early next week 😁. I lucked out too, the supposedly backordered Kubota OEM third function kit arrived weeks earlier than anticipated and the dealer was able to install that as well. I did notice my 54" bucket didn't...

What to do when Dealer Relations go bad????

I also opted for the aluminum on my old Tundra, but my wife's old Camry had no issues with the composite canister. Ford now uses a fully composite trans pan on their super duty trucks and when I worked in mfg. years ago, one engine plant had switched from an aluminum valve cover to composite -...

What to do when Dealer Relations go bad????

Same here, there is so much potential for human error, it's easier to fix the issue before you hand the dealer your hard earned cash.

What to do when Dealer Relations go bad????

Element filter changes don't have to be messy, during first OCI, I purchased the aluminum canister housing for piece of mind on my Tundra and left the composite one on the wife's Camry. Neither gave me problems as long as the correct wrench adapter was used to remove and the housing was...

What to do when Dealer Relations go bad????

Regarding low fluids, this is one thing that should be checked during PDI at the dealership as well as by the customer before signing the contract and driving off the lot. My dad had a 2014 Chevy he bought brand new that had no refrigerant in the AC system upon buying his new truck. He contacted...

What grease are you all using?

I didn't see this earlier. You make a good point regarding the proprietary cartridges. They are actually a "standard" in Europe now so getting phased out isn't an issue. I ordered one grease (Li400) that they tout as being designed for industrial, AG, and other uses so I feel it will suffice in...

    First CUT LX2610 HSD

+1 on the absolutely not for calcium chlorate - it is a strong oxidizer and will probably kill off your vegetation too if you spring a leak. Go with beet juice or if you can afford it, foam filled. Congrats on the LX2610, I'd also recommend looking around while you wait to see if you can snag...

What grease are you all using?

How often do you hit the loader? 10 hours? 25 hours? Manual recommends 50... I'd rather err on the side of caution. Plan is to pump all the zerks full of new grease until all the factory stuff is gone and keep up on it regularly. I'll admit, I've been slacking with my ZTR too, I'll use a grease...

What grease are you all using?

Interesting test, I wonder how the lube shuttle greases perform against these two.

What grease are you all using?

Thank you all for the feedback, there are a lot of Lucas fans here haha. Even though I got a variety of answers, that leads me to the conclusion that grease brand/type is mostly personal preference and maybe the frequency of greasing is probably more important than the grease itself. I checked...

    seal cross reference

You can call a Kubota dealer parts dept to see if they can read the seal mfg. Part number to you over the phone to cross reference. Kubota part numbers will not cross reference. You could also pull your seal and get the part number off of it to cross reference. Hopefully this helps.

What grease are you all using?

If I'm going bacon grease for my bushings, I should go with beer for my ballast. 'Merica!

Appreciate it, that's +1 for the MOS2 then (lithium moly grease).

What grease are you all using?

Nah, I don't care what anyone considers as "best", just checking what you all commonly use for different parts of your tractor so I can make an educated decision. Also seeing if anyone uses the lube shuttle system here as their recommendation will directly relate to my purchase. If you have...

What grease are you all using?

Going to pull the trigger on the lube shuttle system and wanted to see what grease everyone is using for the various grease fittings on the FEL, BH, and drivetrain components on your CUTs. I watched this Tractor Time with Tim video and another one by Airtec (a distributer of Lube Shuttle...
