Does regen have to be terrible?

Knocks my pallets over, jerk my people around on the trailer if doing hay rides. It's like you're always popping the clutch. Tractor dosen't shift right at that high of revs

Does regen have to be terrible?

No it's jolty and Jerky shifting at such high rev. Knock apple bins over or jolt people. It's fine in summer spraying the orchard or mowing.... it's so stupid

Does regen have to be terrible?

Did anyone ever figure a way to force a regen on the newer tractors? It's always stupid times it wants Regens... hard to move apple bins or do hay rides or anything stuck at 2100 RPM. So it gets to sit there for a 20 min regen at 2100. It's got probably 10 hours already just sitting doing...

Waste oil project, clean burn burner.

Very nice sofar, lots of adjustability which is great but also confusing. Get a nice hot clear flame and no smoke. Only did used cooking sofar

Waste oil project, clean burn burner.

So last year I experimented with waste oil burning as I have tons from tractors, nearby fast food place and a nearby garage. I modified a regular burner and it worked OK with used cooking oil being the best in that one. I finally bought a clean burn burner with the intentions on putting it on...

M5N-091 Engine error P-20EE after recall

So they did the recall to the DEF system and now occasionally it will show the P-20EE error code. It doesn't do anything other than show the code but I'm curious why and what it means?

Bleeding stubborn diesel engine, good or bad way?

Yup literally the same way I always bleed them. Just never bleeds properly.... fuel coming out all the bleed screws isn't enough

Bleeding stubborn diesel engine, good or bad way?

It sounds awful on starting fluid, very knocky so when it didn't stay running right away I was like nope time for plan B. Sounded fine on WD but apparently in the case of stubborn bleeding you can also just spray in diesel itself.

Bleeding stubborn diesel engine, good or bad way?

I think the engine is a Cummins but I can't remember I'll have to look again. I tried many ways to bleed it, very stubborn. I didn't trying cracking the injector line while having high pressure in the tank... could be worth a try.

Bleeding stubborn diesel engine, good or bad way?

It's the fact that theirs no lubrication in an engine designed for an oil based fuel.

Bleeding stubborn diesel engine, good or bad way?

So one of my older engines that's on a water pump, (International engine this time not the perkins one) has an extremely hard to bleed fuel pump if it's ran out of fuel. It's a stationary pump so this does happen from time to time if I forget to check it. I tried many things to bleed it but...

    White 2-105 no boost? Suddenly

Musta mainly been the intake leak then

    White 2-105 no boost? Suddenly

So one of the intake gaskets was gone which was blowing a ton of air out and the divider for the twin scroll was rotted out which further weakens power to the turbo. Fixed both of thoes and now it works again, Started driving and immediately heard it again, I was like "Ah there it is!" It's an...

    White 2-105 no boost? Suddenly

So this tractor stopped making boost and sofar nothing has been that AHa that's why. Intake had a section of bad gasket and was leaking but that didn't help, turbo is spinning and exhaust manifold is not leaking. I only noticed one thing which can reduce efficiency but shouldn't make it lose...
