    Chain saw advice

I am planning on getting a Stihl, if I live long enough to outlast my 1977 McCulloch ProMac 650. It just keeps running. It's heavy, but it eats wood with relish. About ten years ago, it became hard to start- then I realized it still had the original spark plug. Bought a new plug, & it fires...

    RTV's UTV's side by sides

I know what you mean. I have thousands of miles on my Rhino (8500+) most of it on the street. On pavement, offroad tires are squirrelly, loud, & don't last long. I recently bought a set of these for the street & love 'em. Smooth, quiet, gobs of street traction. Look good too. Haven't used them...

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I had a back injury years ago, with two options- surgery, or laying flat on my back on the floor with my knees raised for 4 1/2 weeks. I picked the latter. The only way I survived was having the wife build me a "floor" computer setup. CPU on a coffee table, monitor on the floor by my hip, mouse...

    Kubota ROPS Program

Wonderful program on Kubota's end, but my dealer was a butthead. (as usual) I was told that I was not qualified to install it, then their taterhaid tech screwed it up & I had to fix it. Post #3: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5328 It's a great program, & I've heard...

    Area members ???

I still like the idea of zip codes. There are a lot of members in the Southwest Region that I'm not remotely close to. Seem like zips would narrow it down a little more.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Been there, done that- it's no fun for active, hard working people. Wish you were closer so I could help out a little.

    Ground squirrels!!!

Been there. Saved a piece of trim from the cabin from our "pecker-pocalypse".

    Filter for BX series

Unfortunately, the tractor is 150mi away right now, & I have no idea when I can get to it to measure. Maybe someone else can get those dimensions?

My B7100 came with a factory fuel tank strainer: http://www.messicks.com/part/13251-41060/fuel-tank-strainer

"1st Annual OTT, PNW, BBQ and Kubota Games" 7/15/2017

Because there seems to be no one attending (so far) who does machining, I will not bring any machining specific items & bring a few items that anyone vaguely mechanical might have a use for; these can be door prizes or whatever, maybe just swag.

    Ear Candy...

That kid has more soul in the tip of his left pinkie than most singers have in their whole body. Sounds like he must have a re-incarnated, 60+ year old blues singer in him. Amazing. Sounds like he could be a very young Jonny Lang. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tigVYfHVmQ

    It's a great day...

I must have a black cloud following me these days. In addition to primary care of the MIL & FIL, and keeping their old crappy house & car going, I had the upper radiator tank on my truck let go on a trip to my place up north. (and a visit with my little orange buddy) Bad enough normally, but it...

    Area members ???

That sounds feasible, another good idea.

    Area members ???

I have no idea what would be involved to make the changes you suggest, (good idea, by the way) but the current member list (under Community) can be sorted by join date, number of posts, and alphabetically, so it doesn't seem impossible. Someone with more smarts than me will have to jump in here.

    B2400 Front Differential Case Broke...

    1) Never heard of a break there; wear, yes, but not broken. 2) Sounds like my local stealer. 3) I have not dealt with these: http://wkytpstore.com http://www.crosscreektractor.com/default.aspx?page=customer&file=customer/crcrtr/customerpages/used-kubota-tractor-parts.htm I have bought lots of...
