    Operation in sand

Moisture content will have affect also. A day after a moderate rain is much easier than before. The problem of sand-migration and loss of will remain when it dries. William1’s idea of spreading some Portland (screed) will have positive/long-term improvement.

OK..Thanks for the research…. I stand by my prior post, in believing that Any true Christian will view the Old Testament only in light of the New.… but, like everyone else, I often fall woefully short of the goal. Peace.

    Is Everything Attachments open again?

Has EA / ”Ted” yet made-good yet on all the product for which he was paid and never delivered….?? Or, has he contacted those folks and given them a time-frame in-which he promises to make-good…? Until that is confirmed…. I’ll never do business with him.

I believe you have either mis-quoted …or misunderstood me…. or taken it out of context…. Maybe disassociated it with a response to another participant. Perhaps if you find the post …and repost it…we can decide. OR…if you feel generous, perhaps you can take this conversation to a place in...

Wood stoves......My favorite part of having a "cottage"......

A wood stove is nice indeed. I have a large stone fireplace and it’s one of the joys of winter.

The anonymity of sitting behind a keyboard with a UserName instead of Genuine I.D. allows, and even authorizes disrespectful discourse. It has crept into our public servants and now seen as “legitimate” comversation. Instead of becoming More tolerant we’re becoming less so. The ones who wear...

Clutch replacement, was not expecting this

Ospho is not a rust “remover”… It’s a rust “conversion”. Use the wire wheels/brushes to knock off as much of the rust as possible. When you’ve removed as much mechanically as possible…Then paint the interior of the housings and mechanisms with Ospho (phosphoric acid) to “treat” the surface...

Clutch replacement, was not expecting this

Yep…. plugged drain hole kept condensation and high-humidity in there. Wire brush… Ospho… and keep that drain open. Grease the splines and a new throw-out and pilot bearing should solve it for you. Don’t sell it after all THAT work :ROFLMAO:

    B7100 blow-by question

Don’t really “shoot” the radiator top and bottom or you will definitely have a radiator leak problem. :p It may be that a stuck piston ring (or several) may be the cause of low-speed blow-by. Working the engine hard May resolve this after some time. There may be some folks who will encourage...

    Front axle fluid change

80W90 gear oil is perfect….not only in Kubota tractor front axles….but in zillions of auto and truck differentials…Year round in all kinds of climates. (I.E. your tractor does not care if gear oil is used in the front axle in cold weather.)

    Reversing radiator fans

Yep.. Water spray didn’t work too well for me when I was less-experienced with tractors…. I used the water hose to blow out the radiator on my 9N Ford. The cold water splashing on the square-ignition-coil cracked it. It was a puzzle for awhile why it wouldn’t start even after drying...

    Diesel storage / shelf life.

That’s exactly what it is….a propane tank which i pressurize with shop air (Ten psi is all you want or the handle will “jump” out of your hands.) The dip-tube pulls fuel from about 2” above the bottom and the tank has a sump-drain I installed at it’s lowest point. Never found any water in it...

    Diesel storage / shelf life.

The storage life of diesel hadn’t occurred to me until recent. Checking online the most common shelf life is said to be 6-12 months. (pretty wide latitude) Gives me something new to worry about…. I have a 160 gal storage tank that sits out in the sun year round and gets pretty warm here...

Kubota BX24 (D902 Engine) Running Rough, Some Limited "Stalling"

question about crankcase dipstick oil level BX23D

Not familiar with your specific model….but some machines capture a significant amount of oil in the head and passageways for a considerable period of time after being run. Wait an hour after an oil-change / start-up …Then check that dipstick again. Comments about erroneous info in manuals are...
