    Landpride Flail mower

Greetings troverman, no I haven't used it this year. I know I will use it late Summer, possibly July in one area. This is the only flail I have had but so far it has worked fine cutting and mulching up the weeds. It sure seems well built to me and other than initially adjusting the skids and...

Pricing B2650 or wait for Lx2610?

Yes they're well worth it, I would recommend getting either them or a quickhitch. I had them included in my quote but actually forgot about that. Then I discovered I could get $300 more rebate if I bought a second implement so I bought a LP Quickhitch for almost nothing after the $300 rebate...

Pricing B2650 or wait for Lx2610?

I can see tire ballast adding weight for traction but isn't there practically as much liquid weight above the rear axle as below it? If so I'd think it would negate itself as far as adding stability. For stability money would probably be better spent on spacers. I'm glad you never experienced a...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Is it a ground contact deck? The GC deck on my B7500 rolled on two rear wheels that were side by side in the middle so they did leave slight tracks, worse if the ground was soft. Just noticed you have a B2650 I think the 60" deck might be suspended, not sure though.

Pricing B2650 or wait for Lx2610?

I have R4's and they work fine, but I've not tried R14's so I don't know any better. Worth waiting 3 weeks? I don't know, that's a long time to wait once you've made your decision to buy! :D

L2501? B2650? What type/how large of a tractor to buy.?

I think an L2501 would work well for you and since you don't need a mid PTO better than the B2650 in your title. But yes 60" would be the limit for a RC or flail, I run a 58" flail with my L2501.

Pricing B2650 or wait for Lx2610?

Looks like a nice setup to me. Those are the tires I would have gotten had they been available. But given the above I'll just ask why are you filling them? You can probably order a Titan ballast box for no more money than the liquid tire ballast costs and the ballast box will be more effective...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Good job, gotta stay ahead on firewood. I try to have 2 ahead years split up too, and now's a good time to get it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Nice setting, and (especially in Vermont) it's never too soon to soon to start on next seasons firewood! Or are you still cutting for this Spring?

    B2650HSD w/ mid mount mower

I can't offer experience with a cab and AC, but my B2650 had no problem at all cutting pretty tall grass with a 72" deck. But what I cut was fairly level and with my rough ground had to go pretty slow. Cutting tall, thick, grass, on a smooth lawn where you can go fast, and up hill, with the...

I guess that'll keep you out of the sun, who makes the canopy?

    B2650HSD w/ mid mount mower

I don't have pallet forks but I find my grapple to be pretty useful. I worked with it for a few hours yesterday rooting up some thorny little trees that were about 8' tall along the edge of the yard and had also a couple dozen that had started in the area that was logged last year. There were...

Pricing B2650 or wait for Lx2610?

IMO the loader control placement is just fine on the Lxx01's, and I believe right with the loader valve, so no connecting linkage. The loader control really works smoothly. Be sure to have a third function installed!

    B2650HSD w/ mid mount mower

With not a lot to maneuver around and not really steep, a B2650 with deck may work really well for you. Naturally if you anticipate using the hoe in tight areas or rough ground often, during mowing season, having to swap both back and forth could be a hassle. Makes sense Zero Turns are the way...

    B2650HSD w/ mid mount mower

My previous tractor was a B2650 with a 72" mmm, one machine to do everything. The reason I replaced my smaller tractor (with 54" deck) with the B2650 was I acquired more property which unfortunately involved a lot more mowing. The deck with its 4 swivel casters was easy enough to put on and...

    COVID-19 Stuff

People from PA have been coming down in droves to WV. Why? Because PA shut down their liquor stores 2 weeks ago and the drunks are out of booze! WV Governor has now limited selling liquor to only WV residents.

Pricing B2650 or wait for Lx2610?

The L is definitely a little heavier, if working on lawns a lot with either one I'd go with turf tires, they also work better in snow than R4's. I was deciding between an L2501 or B2650 and went with the B in order to run the 72" mmm because it could be my lawn mower and everything else...

    Considering new ZD1211-72

I can't offer anything specific to a ZD1211-72 but I was mowing my acreage with my B2650 with a 72" MMM and it was taking too long. One reason was the three point turns but mostly it was due to my rough "lawn" required me to run pretty slow. Plus the 72" deck (even though it was ground contact)...
