Just as a side note. When selling my 2013 l3800 HST, the buyer tried to engage the PTO, it didn’t work! Anyway, he played around with the cable and or assembly, and it engaged. I didn’t take much notice, as he was happy to purchase the tractor.

Yes good torque and the speed so far is good, I’ve pushed the RPM’s to 2400, not sure what the max RPM set at, is yet. Being careful first several hour’s especially, and want to break it motor for max power in future.

I had an older L-3800 , R-1 , tires. Plug did not work as tires were tubed. Front were tubeless, plugged a few times. Check with dealer who sold to you?

Had similar issues with my old l3800/LA524, wear and tear will cause the rattle and sometimes hydraulic cylinders , from side to side, get out of alignment, which can cause difficulties engaging the SSQA. The rattle, new pins may help, the cylinders, take some measurements, side to side?
