    Mid Mount Mower Adjustment Issues

My last issue with mowing grass and uneven cut resulted in a bent mower blade. Should have been obvious, but I messed with my mower for hours before realizing one of the blades was bent. Lol.

Trouble with MMM linkage NOT lower linkage low enough to MMM.

I don't own that model, but are the 3 point and MMM linkage linked? If so, can you step on the 3 point arms and see if it lowers more? Does your model have the flow control valve for the 3 point? Maybe its not open enough? Is something contacting the 3 point or the MMM linkage so it stops its...

    Kubota L35 Gland nut wrench?

If you can't make one, these adjustable ones are pretty decent, as long as your nut is not seized. the issue with the affordable ones, is they are usually not made with proper materials or they are improperly heat treated, or skip the heat treat process altogether and you end up with soft or...

    MX5100 engine ticking sound

Glad you found the issue. I never even thought about the exhaust gaskets. I didn’t think that was very common. It does remind of when I was young and had put headers on my car. it would blow the exhaust gaskets about every 5000 miles as they just didn’t seal properly. It would make a pretty...

    HID Projectors In BX2350 Headlights

That looks great! . I took a set of bi-xenon headlights from a Cadillac and put them in my CBR 1000RR, they were amazing. I never thought about my tractor, but yours look so good, I may have to do it as well. 👍

Weird loader hydraulic problem. Help me figure it out please!

If you want OEM ones, I use messicks. Their prices are usually cheaper than most other online places. Although they do have a bit hefty shipping charge. But if you want it quick, they have great service. you can sometimes see some pealing or deformation of the O-ring within the female...

    Tig time anyone? Learning tig....

I’m more of a novice Tig welder, having done it for years, although it’s not my job and I only do it occasionally. But I am curious of what type and brand of tungsten your using? My concern would be getting the tungsten in your welds. If it’s melting, it’s going somewhere. It doesn’t always...

    Aortic Heart Valve Replacement

Best wishes to a speedy recovery. It is amazing how quick and non envasive the procedures have become. My father has had multiple heart procedures with valve replacement, stents, ablasions and a pacemaker. all of his recoveries were only days and just a little tired for those days. Then major...

    Idling vs shutdown and restart

I let mine idle quite a bit. Just yesterday doing spring clean up, I would move the tractor where I needed it, use the chainsaw or rake to make the pile of limbs and leaves, then pile them into the loader and move to the next area. I probably let it idle about 5-10 minutes between movements...

    LA525 loader control valve cover

This is not my picture as I don’t have a 525 loader. But this is a 3901 which may have the same controller as yours. It looks like 3 bolts hold the cover on. But again, not my picture and only a guess.

    Grand L3240 HST3 4WD not working

I’m sure your 3240 Is The same as my 4240. I believe they mechanically shift into 4 wheel drive. I don’t think they are electric locking. can you feel it shift into 4wd when you shift the lever? If not, your linkage may have come loose. That’s the first thing I would check. shift the lever...

    L2501 issue

^^^this.^^^ Also. You can pick up some ph test strips for diesel fuel if you are suspect of the fuel. It wouldn’t do a lot of good if you refill with contaminated fuel. But more than likely water or dirty fuel filter.

L3800 coolant change, 4 quarts out six quarts in?

You still had roughly 2 quarts of coolant ( water) in your engine. So if you mixed it at a 50/50 ratio, you are probably weak on freeze protection. It would be a good idea to test the coolant to see where you are If you’re in a cold climate.

Debris and literal garbage in bagged topsoil.

Well that certainly fits the mix of stuff I am seeing. It is concerning though just how much non soil is in the bag of "topsoil". Could you imagine your entire lawn having a piece of plastic or garbage every square inch?

Debris and literal garbage in bagged topsoil.

Ok So sitting here thinking, pictures are worth more than words and not having the garbage from the previous bag, I decided to cut open a new bag, sifted through the “topsoil” and removed the debris of bag 2. Various pieces of plastic. Some fiber material (the larger reddish piece) some metal...

Debris and literal garbage in bagged topsoil.

I don’t mind the wood or organic materials, but the plastics and metal seem a bit over the top.

Debris and literal garbage in bagged topsoil.

definitely not what I would expect. I thought last years experience was an “oit of the ordinary” situation. Now a 3rd brand of top soil and the same garbage in it. I don’t mind the wood or organic materials, but plastics and metal should not be in there.

Debris and literal garbage in bagged topsoil.

It is top soil. It’s not too late. But I only bought 3 bags so I’m only out 6 bucks.

Debris and literal garbage in bagged topsoil.

I agree, it doesn’t seem like top soil. I have not contacted the company. I could take the bags back, but these are just going on the lawn so I am filtering out the garbage. This has happened from different suppliers as Well.

Debris and literal garbage in bagged topsoil.

Now that winter is over and I need to fill in bare spots from snow removal, I purchased some bags of top soil and grass seed to help heal my lawn in those spots. Today I found many other things besides dirt? I don’t mind the small rocks and wood pieces, but last year and also this year, I...
