Field Tuff 60 inch Pine Straw Rake

Anyone use the Tractor supply pine straw rake? I have a ton of pine trees in my horse pasture, and it looks like nobody that every lived here before us raked up a single pine needle. Wondering if it's worth skipping the EA one and saving a few bucks.

    Tooth bar for bucket

I ordered mine on May 4th, just the first email that says thanks for the money, sucka! Sent a follow up asking for a status 4 days ago, so far no reply. I have almost completed the work I specifically wanted it for, 3 days of working a hard packed dirt mound versus what I expect would have been...

    Ballast box

Luckily my land is bumpy, but flat, so that danger is reduced and the bumpiness keeps my speed down. I will keep this in mind if I ever help a buddy out and encounter this type of scenario though. I have mine financed, so it's full replacement insurance with Kubota.

    Ballast box

My salesman said with a BX no ballast was needed due to the limitations of the FEL, and I could lift a full capacity bucket no problem. In my situation, it would be extremely rare for me to ever try. I have no ballast, and no plans to get any. If I pick up a FEL full of rock and end up rocking...

Ribs on the slow cooker while we were on the river feeding crabs our bait. And a baked potato.

Mow job turned into project, then another failed project

    1. Went out to mow, took the loader off. 2. Wife..."Can you get this stump by the porch out so I can plant this azalea"? 3. Put loader back on, grab shovel and axe, remove stump. Easy enough. 4. Loader off, grass mowing time. 5. I found every piece of bale twine that has EVER been in the...

Tooth Bar Review (BXPanded - Piranha)

May 4th order place, May 4th money taken. Nothing past an email stating my order was placed so far.

Advice on loading backhoe attachment onto trailer

I've been known to ratchet strap pretty heavy things to a dolly (hand cart) then ratchet strap that up onto a trailer. Not always the safest thing, especially by yourself, but it's served me well in the past. My dolly has 4 wheels, handle changes it to a cart, so not too difficult to get things...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Sure ain't. I was QUITE surprised. Glad the wife was out on her horse and didn't witness the shenanigans.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I cut some grass, and took out 2 branches with the ROPS, nearly flipped over backwards on one. Foot came off the HST pedal a bit slower than in my younger days. Quite surprising when your tractor's front end jumps up over your head.

    Land Pride SA20

So 2 minutes after this post, they called me back. They "came to an agreement" amongst themselves that it probably isn't recommended, even though Kubota says it's a BX series match. They say they "think" the 3rd function will drop pressure a little, and that operating at 6 GPM is with no load...

    Land Pride SA20

Is that with an auger and the QA mount? If so, I'm already sold, the 900-9 looks like it would work on a BX, and no way LP can beat that kind of price. Still no callback from the service manager. Shocker....not. Guess Land and Coates of VA gives a crap about you after the sale.

    Land Pride SA20

I put in a call to the dealer, waiting on service manager to call me back, but the Kubota site says the SA20 is BX, L, MX, M Matched series, so I imagine it should work. Can't really find a price anywhere on it so far online, but I imagine it's approaching 2 or 3K. I will be using the tractor...

    Job/Careers/Employed/Unemployed...

I second this, though I only stopped working for about 30 days after 25 years in the military. Now been a federal civilian coming up on 2 years.

    Land Pride SA20

Does anyone have the LP SA20 auger and use it on a BX? It says 6-30 GPM, and the 2680 says it has 6.2. I know I can hang a 3PH one much cheaper, but I am about to do a bunch of fence, and I think forward is always easier than backwards. PS...I am not renting a PHD, I already have a 1 man PHD...

The best thing I found in 25 years in the military working on heavy equipment in a concrete floor shop is a wire wheel on a grinder.

Picture of your tractor on your trailer

I will be experimenting this weekend with my setup. I have a 10 foot long tractor with the FEL on, and a 10 foot long TSC 7000lb single axle utility trailer. We'll see if it'll fit or not, either way, I'll snap a pic or 2 for your amusement.

    Fuel can options

I use this, https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/no-spill-inc-diesel-can-5-gal-carb-compliant?cm_vc=-10005 it doesn't require pressure against the nozzle like some of the cheaper ones with the release built into the delivery piece of the nozzle, so it's easier to handle. You can find old...
