    HST vs Gear drive

Like SDT said get yourself a 4' bush hog and don't drag it over anything it's not rated to cut and your tractor will do fine.

    HST vs Gear drive

If you’re going to get a FEL and or mower get the HST there is no noticeable difference between the two in horse power or reliability.

    Quick Hitch

I bought a Land Pride QH15 from a local dealer for $375 that price you got on the QH10 seem really high. Several other members here say they use the Harbor Freight QH and it works great for a 100 bucks or less.

    Mx5800 FEL lift

I have about 2000 of ballast on mine and move skids about the same weight or just slightly more with my fork attachment all the time with our MX5800 I’m guess you didn’t have enough ballast and the bypass was going for that reason or that Rock was a lot heavier then you thought it was.

Toothbar doesn’t fit. Poor customer service?

Sounds like you can clean it up and make it work to bad they only put 6 teeth on a 66" tooth bar the ones we're using have 8 in that length but it'll probably work fine once you get it one there. I hope it was cheap.

    Somewhat Disappointed With The FEL

You really only have about a 1350lb lifting capacity or so if the dirt is wet and compacts easy it will make it difficult to lift and curl if you go hard into the pile do like Wolfman said and see if it works better.

I doubt that they are going to take it back especially after almost a month from the delivery time. But you never know it’s gonna be up to the dealership owners. Good luck hope it works out for you.

    BX22 what's it worth

I’m not sure how the BX22 compares to the BX24 I sold in July but mine had turf tires, chains, mid mower w/bagger, and the loader and hoe and sold for 13500 within a week. It only had 700 hours and was a 2006 model with all maintenance records and manuals.
