It's going to require shims if it's low you'll need a gauge to see where it's at before you do anything just adding shims is a recipe for disaster. It should be in the 2600~2650 PSI range to operate safely. If I'm wrong on the numbers someone here will correct me shortly. :)

With the loader bucket down and the backhoe in the travel position you should be able to see it in the sight glass if you can you're good to go. ;)

Ok the Husky tooless chain adjuster does work really well if you want one PM me your address I'll send you one that will fit you 440 then you'll have both and can use which ever one you like best my guess is you'll keep the tooless design on it they are time savers and work as designed. EDR

Honestly you would probably make out better with a good low hour older model skid loader for everything you mentioned except mowing that's where a good used zero turn would come in handy. You're going to have to shop around but probably will be able to stay close to your price range. Good luck
